You’re adorable! I’m starting at Northumbria in September and I’m soooo confused on what accommodation to book :( I saw in a reply you made to someone else that you’re staying in Mansion Tyne, which I know is a private accommodation. Would you say it’s a sociable as the university halls, or not quite? :)

Hi, thank you! I'm actually finishing the uni this year haha. I'd say that you can definitely meet people in the student accommodation starting from your flatmates and then going to different social events that are organised at the student halls. I know that during lockdown it's different and all events are suspened but once this pandemic thing is over, it's gonna get back to normal :) Also, it's more pricey than living in a house.

Hey! I'm staying at Mansion Tyne at the moment. It's pretty good but the fire alarms are usually going off too often :( The previous place was Nido it's really good! You should check it out.

It depends on what campus you're going to study on. There is Newcastle campus which is in the North East of England and London campus

It's a student accommodation called Mansion Tyne. I like the size of the kitchen and my flatmates but there are cons like constant fire alarms going off or reception that works 9-5 on working days only :(

@@cafeasicarti789 I live further North than Newcastle, and if you're not from the UK, it might be a little different, but you'll get used to it :) I can pretty much wear shorts whatever the weather and I don't freeze to death :D

I moved my PC only and had to check it in in my baggage. It was quite stressful experience ngl but my PC was perfectly fine. I bought a new screen here in the UK

I've had a lot of free time in my first year. tbh in the second year it's much less time for me. But it always depends on your course anyway!
