Congrats to Georgia on winning the right game. I 'd be upset if I didn't have 9 other championships in my time on Earth to keep me grounded in my love of Alabama Football.

Okay what I liked was that Million Dollar Band brought significant numbers,**** ton of cheerleaders and majorettes, the Green Day song was sweet. Big thumbs up. What I didn’t like was “hey bulldogs we just beat the hell out of you…” You know some day Saban might retire and the empire might crumble for a decade. Also fight song could be more inspiring like the Big Ten bands. Conclusion, you guys are officially better than Southern Cal and Oklahoma who keep playing the same songs over and over. Have fun in the CFP y’all.
@graciel23132 жыл бұрын
I personally think the fight song is very inspiring and besides Michigan's fight song most Big Ten fight songs are bland and they all sound similar. The Rammer Jammer cheer has been around for several decades, well before Saban. I believe it was in the 80s that it was played before the game... "Hey bulldogs we are gonna beat the hell out of you" as well as after the game. To play it before the game takes some confidence that you are going to win. Years before that during the 60s and 70s part of the cheer, "Rammer Jammer, Yellow Hammer, Give 'em hell Alabama' was a cheer by itself. The other part was added in the early 80s.
@eaglerider18262 жыл бұрын
Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer has been played after every Alabama victory since 1972 . Once the administration tried to ban the chant because it had the word " Hell " in it . The students stood up and 98% supported it . We tell people that if you don't want to hear it then win the game and it will not be played . It's as much a tradition as Miss. State and their cowbells .

@@graciel2313 My daughter was in the Michigan Marching Band and I agree with you. Notre Dame also has a great fight song. This was my first time watching Alabama Band and I love their enthusiasm. @@kodylanghamIt would make me feel if they treated it like they do all other ativities ... @@contactpq 1. Do elaborate on what you mean by "treated it like they do the rest of the activities". 2. I didn't even bring up the sports teams because I'm able to realize that even though the majority of the students at that University are white that the majority of the best basketball and football players would be black. Is it really that hard to imagine that the majority of the best cheerleaders would be white, and if we're being accurate here that was actually the drill team that was sitting in front of the band.

Alabama sports teams/band are NOT OPERATED ON A QUOTA SYSTEM: All qualified persons are accepted--and, it starts with the Bryce Young, quarterback, a wonderful Negro young man from California who came to T Town to play his football. The Bama band recently marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC--and, gracious and wonderful comments were heard by parade goers and the millions who watched the band on television. All of Alabama, indeed, the South was very proud of the Bama band who represented us with such excellence, pride, and, superb performance at the famous parade on Thanksgiving Day. Gooday mba, you need to get away from such a negative view of looking for things that do not exist, Shucks, come on down to T Town and we will great you to some great Southern cooking! Roll Tide!
