Very interesting watch and to hear him talking about the genetic diversity coming from one single tree originally but still strengthening the gene pool when cross pollinating etc. It gives me a lot of hope as to what can be achieved, and I look forward to visiting in the near future (hurry up super high speed internet) and hopefully volunteering and seeing how we can help :)

Volunteers always welcome, Bethan & Matt 😊 the clearing, planting and maintenance work is never-ending. Yes, the redwood tree story was quite something to hear. Quite humbling the vision and determination of conservationists like Quentin, Rebecca, Vanessa and everyone else. Thanks for the comment 👍

@@whatthesaintsdidnext This sounds like something we'd certainly be interested in helping with in our spare time without a doubt. We run our businesses remotely anyway, so as soon as we can come (fibre rollout depending) then we will be coming and I suspect we'll be there 3-6 months first time around. Exciting times! :D

very interesting, especially on disease and what plants have to fight them, I am a retired pharmacist, and it is amazing humans have some of the same things.

It was fascinating listening to Quentin's talk, even as we were filming it. Thanks for the comment, William 👍
