tuition wont stay the same. transfer process might be more challenging and competitive from uic to uiuc.

No, uiuc is like top 50 in the world. But uic has climbed since i went there. If you want a comparison in last years rankings uic was higher then Kansas, Colorado. 97 to be exact. It all depends on what field you want and style of college experience. I loved living in the city and going to college.
