With pilsen becoming a more trendy neighborhood and west loop blowing up to a swanky tech and corporate hub, uic has shot up in rankings. It spun off and took full control of the u of i medical school and bought and took over john Marshall law school. Living in a cool city with that access to internships while in school is crazy good.

@@CampusMania Yep It's very hard to go to a good university in Korea. The college entrance exam is really hard. So I should have become a college student this year, but I'm studying for another year to go to a better university. After I become a college student next year, I will prepare for an exchange student. I want to study in the U.S. for about a year….. 👍

It’s ugly and 60s brute design. I want their for school. The cool aspect is its pilsen and west loop adjacent (food heaven), Next to downtown (internships) and you can jump on the el and get to any cool neighborhood you want to (Lakeview, Logan square, wicker park etc. ). My college experience was awesome…i went to any concert i wanted, went to cool blues clubs, museums, Chicago pro sports etc.
