University of North Carolina Television Sign-off from Spring 1988

Another sign-off clip recorded and contributed by your's truly at the time I made this aircheck from WUNF-TV 33 in Asheville NC. The video commences with the closing graphic of a 1985 episode of the BBC comedy EastEnders, followed by a UNC-TV promo related to the show. Next up is a UNC-TV/PBS bumper promoting various PBS programming.Then comes a network and station ID displayng the numerous UNC-TV translator stations covering the North Carolina mountains, followed by a listing and roll call of the ten stations of the UNC-TV network. By the time of the 1999 UNC-TV sign-off, one more station and several more translators had been added.

I want to point out two mistakes: 1. The network was not called UNC-TV until around 1992 or '93. 2. As I recall, EastEnders is a soap opera, not a sitcom. Anyway, thanks for the upload.
