Bro are you really living here in Regina? Minimum pay is $11.45, the lowest pay in Canada. Living expenses are not that much cheaper and even sometimes more if we compare with other provinces. Tax rate is 11%, higher if compared to Alberta with minimum pay of $15. And University of Regina if I’d talk about, tuition is so much expensive as compared to Ontario and BC, it’s not $18K for a year. It depends on how many courses you’re taking in a year (you’ve to take 6 courses at least in a year for undergraduate studies). In a four year undergraduate program, you’ve to complete around 38-40 courses to get a bachelors degree. And one course would cost you around $2600-$2700 (for Undergraduate). So, if taking 10 courses in a year, you’ve to pay around $25K or more. And if talking about Regina, there’re 5% chances you’ll get your field job after graduation. So, in short, if you wanna go for Bachelors OR Masters, Go for better university in better province. If you looking for short studies and PR, then it’s okay to consider Regina. Hope this helps.
