hey bro now I have completed my class 12th unfortunately I did not get well in my class 12th expecting only 84 %to 86% (Provided I got 97% in class 9th 98.4 in class 10th 95 % in class 11th interschool debate champion and had 10 hours of volunteer work) i am very sick right now i don't know what to do my class 12th got ruined due to some reasons now if i do good in my b tech then for masters is it possible for me to get UT Austin

Hi! It is not mandatory to do bachelor's in India to secure admission to a master's program in a US university. You might save a hefty amount of tuition fees by pursuing BTech in India instead of USA. However, if you can afford the tuition fees of bachelor's in USA and have a strong intent to settle there, you can start from bachelor's. It will give you an overall idea of the education system, work culture, and also enhance your adaptability for future career in USA. Also for Engineering bachelor's programs, BE or BS degrees are common in USA, just like BTech is common in India. Hi, to get admission at any of the USA universities you will have to submit a IELTS or TOEFL or any other English language proficiency exam scores if you are an international student. GRE score depends on the program you want to apply for.
