91 and still as sharp and more active than ever a true legend and a living icon of broadcast and naturalism he speaks with frank words and grace the sometimes difficult topics that humankind can glaringly see but deem much easier to ignore .. "We need to control our population or nature will control it for us "

It seems we owe a lot to Dr H H Gregory. Without him inspiring Sir David at an early age, we may never have experienced the wonderful programmes he and his team have presented to us over the years.

He reads his own memoirs in his audio book "Life On Air: Memoirs of a Broadcaster" - can not recommend it enough to anyone who enjoys his voice.

Thank you Sir David for this wonderful conversation and sharing, and for inspiring me by your hard work for so many years, and continuing - if we are to make repairs and restorations to the planet we will all have to work a lot harder!

His father was indeed very wise in the way he coaxed David into following his own curiosity. I'll be keeping that in mind :)

Dear Mr. Sir David Attenborough: I just like to express my heartfelt admiration and gratitude to you. I have been eagerly watching and enjoying your documentary videos since I was 10 years old. Your god’s giving unique style, body language and knowledge to showcasing various characteristics of animals, species and their roles in the mutual interconnection system is really remarkable. I believe you are one of those chosen to do so. As a Muslim, I strongly believe that ALLAH Almighty is the creator, the keeper of the whole universe and everything else it it. No other associates nor partners with him. Consequently, must be solely worshipped, feared and given all credit ,acknowledgment and gratitude. I know that you aren’t a religious man as you stated in one of your TV interviews, but in my opinion you don’t have to be a religious to give credit to God. Just let nature’s instincts kick. We all going die sooner or later. As a Muslim, I believe in judgement day as well as the eternal life after death. (Another life). I also believe that we all going to meet God almighty individually and therefore we will be held accountable for our actions. And everyone will get a fair return for good or bad behaviors. In conclusion, I would like you put all our religion and cultural differences aside and think this matter over. What if I was telling you was true? And that you were convinced and embraced Islam, therefor you will be one those lucky survivors in the other eternal life. Now It’s up to you sir. Because I like you very much, I strongly feel obligated to inform you that. I wish you all the best. I will keep watching, enjoying your documentary videos no matter what your response is. Best regards. Youssif Jassim Saudi Arabia

As a admirer of Sir David Attenborough as well as a Indian and lover of Indian jungle I think he may be having the Jim Corbett omnibus ,as well as read William Blake poem on Indian Tiger " Tyger, Tyger, burning bright, in the forest of the night ".

Quite chuffed that David has connections with the University that has accepted me to read an Archaeology MA.. Love the fact that Leicester started life as a Lunatic Asylum... I'll fit right in .. lol
