Thanks for sharing! I can attest to the benefits of onions not for hair growth but as a child I can remember when when we were sick with fever my grandmother would put sliced onions on the bottom of our feet under our socks to draw fever out of the body to this day I still use this natural remedy, it’s especially great for children!

Aloe Vera leaf has a toxic layer that should be eaten or applied. Please do your research to know how to use the gel of the leaf properly. Also onions is really acidic, and doesn’t seem right to put pure onion juice on the hair... so many medical esthetician’s and dermatologist say you shouldn’t do DIY’s and for many good reasons...

For example, Rice Water totally broke my hair off several months ago, and I only used it once and let it stay on for about 10 minutes. Sure, it made it strong, but afterwards, the breakage started. She then prepared her hair with oil she made, adding butter or something to the ends while sectioning her hair. After, she applied the onion juice to her scalp and massaged it. You can add Pure Grade Essential oils to your onion water and it will help. A few of my fav Essential oils that I add to my products are Clary Sage, Thyme Vulgaris( not Thyme Thymol that's for different purposes) lemongrass, Ginger and Lavender.. They're are others that are awe too but these are easy to get and not to expensive. I dint use Peppermint oil for a few reasons but if it you like it? It's an option too.

I use a juicer as well. I also freeze the juice in ice cube trays, store in a zip lock bag & defrost when needed. I use 1 cube per treatment (roughly ½ an onion). I find anything more is wasted as it runs off the scalp and down onto your face and neck.

I've been using the onion juice treatment for 3 weeks straight i heard you see results in two months so I will come back and keep you guys posted. (Edit 02/12/2020) I forgot to add, even though it's only been 3 weeks I've noticed my hair has gotten thicker in the back and I've retained more length to the point where my hair stretches to collar bone length. it should definitely get thicker in the next two months and more length should be retained. I'll keep you guys posted soon. (Edit 17/12/2020) SO i've been doing for exactly one month and I can say that my hair shedding has reduced a lot which is good :) my hair has gotten a bit thicker but the length is roughly the same. I'll be back next month to see if i have more length. i'm aiming for collar bone length rbn

Hey hun, I use OGX coconut shampoo (i shampoo twice) and it gets the smell right out and i follow up with their conditioner then i rinse then i use megagrowth deep conditioner :)

Okay so I do this once a week and I do it BEFORE shampooing (doing it after defeats the purpose because you’ll be putting smelly onions on fresh hair) i leave it in for 15-20 minutes then i follow up with a shampoo & conditioner. Then i deep condition & i braid my hair and wear wigs x

Don't worry, I tried using onion juice and garlic for 6 months. It didn't do anything for me either. Our hair is just fussy thats all. No biggie. I also dont do wash and gos. Not everything is for everybody's hair. It doesn't matter.

Your hair is absolutely beautiful! Just wondering if you could tell me where to buy or how to make the coffee peppermint shampoo bar? I know a couple of the other ladies were asking as well. Tfs💕

my friend makes homemade soaps. pretty sure he can make the coffee peppermint blend if you cant find any

@@divakim206 actually working on getting it all up now, he has a woman doing his social media but i do not think he's started online. i'll ask him tomorrow if he's got any coffee/peppermint shampoo made.. i've made all his labels so i do know he's got peppermint and coffee soaps.. just dont know if he's got any made.. takes weeks to make handmade soaps for them to set. ill let you know tomorrow when i talk to him. try ETSY for your soaps. not amazon.

@@divakim206 my friend has: coffee orange, Peppermint oatmeal and Peppermint chocolate. 6 dollars a bar + shipping cost. he wasnt aware of the coffee / peppermint combo, so he's making a batch. i think it takes a few weeks to cure.
