Hi. Do you know if it's possible to have the motion detection "mark" the recording during un-"armed" time periods? My use case is that I want to receive an email when there's motion at night etc but during the day I would still like it to mark the video as a "motion" portion so in the playback window it shows as red (motion detected) instead of blue (no motion) while it's disarmed. I thought of maybe leaving it "armed" 24/7 and then configuring the alerts with a third party software but even EZStation which can send an email itself doesn't seem to support filtering by time etc.

Yes use a VCA such as crossing the line or Intrusion for night, use and set this on an arming schedule for the VCA to trigger alerts only at night

check you have the latest FW on the NVR, using Chrome / Firefox etc allows limited functionality (such as a single camera view) (you dont need activex this uses HTML5) using IE (not Edge!! the old Internet explorer V11) and installing Active-X will give you a much better full experience, if you are just making a quick setting change chrome is fine but i still use Internet Explorer.

@@crk-cctvnewzealand5474 Thank you very much for your prompt reply and kindness to do so. to be more specific this NVR and camera are used in a house and the Operative System is Mac.

@@couragers1 you will want to use the Safari plugin (is on the uniview website) This is the web plugin for Mac OS. After installation, you will be able to live view most of Uniview IPC/NVR on Safari for Mac. 1. Supports Mac OS X 10.9 to 10.11 versions. 2. Supports Safari for Mac(Safari 8 or later version is recommended) 3. Please close the web browsers while you are installing the plug-in. 4. Theoretically supports Uniview IPC/NVR. www.uniview.com/download.do?id=1610311

you have an alarm trigger action set to bozzer, you need to find what camera and event is causing this and un-check the trigger action to buzzer. IE under motion, trigger action buzzer.

use the LOG to view what is triggering the buzzer to sound so as you can switch it off
