Hi jade !! I just got back from interrailing for 5 weeks a couple of weeks ago and I’m so jealous of you starting from the beginning! A tip for you- certain train routes require your book a reservation. If you aren’t sure which time of day you want to get that train you can book your reservation at the train station, but if you are planning the trains in advance you can book them in advance and the reservations are listed to you. If you do this, leave lots of time for them to arrive because I cut it a bit fine and had a few days of stress before we left for the trip waiting for the tickets to arrive in the post. xxxxx

You are welcome. I introduced you to my students over the summer and will do so again this term. Many boys really struggle to have confidence in their work or self-worth and need every encouragement and advice possible. I try and motivate with rewards and a raffle in class and sending home a praise communication to boost their confidence. Every little bit helps I think. My boys in the summer did amazingly well in their exams, after a lot of hard work. I have moved from being an NHS surgeon to a biology teacher, trying to inspire the next generation of scientists. However, they relate to someone of their own age I believe. It has been an interesting journey. Vivien
