@@garretthardcastle5624 Sry my reply didn’t show up, but the (Aspect Of Explosive Mist)-Blood Mist: triggers Corpse Explosion on surrounding Corpses. When Blood Mist detonates a Corpse, its Cooldown is reduced by [0.2 - 0.5] seconds. It’s a Legendary Affix in Diablo 4 that has a chance to be found randomly on Legendary quality items, it’s not in the codex of power so you can’t just get it from completing a dungeon. And then you upgrade Blood Mist to the Ghastly Blood Mist to leave behind a corpse every second while in Blood Mist form. And then you can also use the Decompose skill to form even more corpses on the ground before using Blood Mist, I heard they nerfed the fuck outta this build though

Im doing a minion dot build focusing on corpse explosion lol. I use reap, blight, corpse explosion, the hewed flesh passive and the corpse buff passives. Spec all the skelly minions buffs, use reapers to help make corpses and was using a bine golem too for that but now i have decrypify to help reduce army of dead cd. Experiment with mages how you want i was doing shadow for extra shadow dmg but i swapped to cold for the vulnerability and cc. I may not hit as hard as everyone but that dot and minions will whittle it down fast

First instinct was I didn’t want to be bored with a wizard or barb so I went necro knowing I wanted to do a summons army shadow blight with corpse explosion now I can change accordingly after I just hit lvl 58. Some legendary modes really make this broken but it’s more fun than being stuck on levels, more fun speed running while farming!

Blood mist + corps explosion is the must to have . But I would change the ulti with Bone storm . Lvl 80 Necromancer playing for like 5 days , they need to buff the Necro because it's falling behind .. the Barbarian and Rogue are so buffed atm is so unbelievable..

Necro does the most damage Ive ever seen so far.. there are bone spear builds doing 15-20 million dmg Necro alternatives might need a boost... but bone spear certainly does not. And they buffed bone splinters last time around.

​@DAS1337 Bone splinters is killer for taking out smaller mobs, it may not gather essence like reap does on a crowd of mobs but it has better crit damage & with the passive it gives you higher crit chance for your core skills for four seconds

Slap the aspect with the vampire curse on it for even more damage when blood mist triggers. I prefer blight and the corpse explosion perk that changes it Shadow damage as well.

Because it can only explode up to five they nerfed it before launch it’s unnecessary to use decompose if you’re going for this build just use reap for 25% dmg reduction

This build won't last in end game, you need to be doing 100,000+ crit damage to survive. I use an amulet that makes ossified essence do 1% crit damage for every 1 essence past 50 up to 59% which is significant & I use bone spear with extra crit damage on my gear & weapon so my crit damage is up to 497% & one quarter of that damage is with my bone skills a.k.a bone storm, bone spear & bone splinters. Did you know that one of the passive for bone storm increases your crit chance by 20% while it's active; so pair that with an aspect that gives you extra time with your bone storm while it consumes up to 8 corpses means lots of critical for longer with increased crit chance including the passive paranormal bone spear for your core skillthat increases your crit chance by 5% Oh & by the way, I put an aspect on my two handed weapon that increases my sacrifice bonuses by 50% since two handed weapons increase aspect power by 100% I hope this helps you do lots of damage but remember this. The necromancer can die just as easily as kill even with big critical bonuses

I'm running something very similar to this - like almost exactly! I have blizzard cold mages, but I also add in bone spirit and I can do ~15K damage with that when I crit. Note that in PVP this becomes "very killable necro build" because the barb, rogue, sorc and druid are just insane toe-to-toe

At this moment, I'm at lvl 65 and nothing stands up to me. Everything dies, quick. My build is: bone spear main with corpse explosion and corpe tendrils to bring them in close. I also use skeletal warriors, the one with scythe that create corpse. I sacrifice the makes and golem. Im crit chance and damage is very high, mixed with bone ability passive. Thats the gist, I dont want to type for 20 minutes completely laying out the build. Its basically bone spear, with an emphasis on make enemies vulnerable and hitting them hard with my long, hard bone spears. 😉 I'm just cruising but at 65, I believe I could easily survive in World lvl 4. Can't wait until he's fully built, my necro is gunna be a top build in the game.

Being lvl 65 and easily surviving in WT4 isn’t much of a flex. Not saying your build isn’t good (there would be no way for me to know without seeing it) and everyone knows none spear flays, but these are some pretty bold claims if you’re still in WT3. Everything in T3 should die quick for a necro at that level. What’s your highest sigil nightmare dungeon?

You can put blood mist CD to 6.9 seconds. It detonates up to five corpses. Decompose is unnecessary and worse than Reap which actually places a 25% dmg reduction

He is warning that the necromancer can only do a few things at end game & this is not one of them. I tried corpse explosion & its fine until world tier 4 because it just doesn't do enough damage which is why I reworked my character to do high crit bone spear & I did 800,000 critical damage at one point with my sacrifice bonuses from getting rid of my minions while using bone spear which made me understand why people use the ossified essence boosting legendary aspect & now My critical % is 497

Unkillable is BS, necros have 1 CC break in blood mist. You will get stun locked in higher nightmares, and you will die quickly. There's literally nothing you can do to stop it.
