The narration is by John Malkovich, from the opening of the movie 'Alive'. They left off the end of the quote: "That's the god I met on the mountain."
@simonroper47133 жыл бұрын
Yes but if they used the last line of dialogue it would bring the mountain a specific thing. I think they wanted to use a broader sense of situations we find ourselves in that challenge us. Of course, knowing the origin of the dialogue leaves me feeling very differently about listening to this piece evermore. I have synesthisia so the beauty of the sweeping highly emotional tones in this music to me is like a spiritual experience. I am so moved by the sounds, I think I’m meeting with a higher order too x

Wherever happened to the golden rule, if you have nothing helpful or thoughtful today, or even positive critique shut your pie hole....the things people state in these comments would never be said to someone's face. This is a powerful and moving song, fantastic texture throughout. Unkle, and Shadow are sampling gods.

Keith Guyman I mean I get what you're saying, but why let that petty shit bother you? Im my opinion I don't give a shit what people think about me, my style, who I am, or my musical taste... I got a bit of advice for you bro. Dont feed into the bullshit and just enjoy the tunage. Half the comments are some sorry ass losers trying to troll... And if you can't resist feeding into the lame ass comments, put the shit on full-screen... Stop caring about what others think about you, especially on KZbin... I mean dude, what are the chances you're ever gonna run into these ignoramus fools? Life is too short to be feeding off the haters and trolls... Fuck society and what the "normies" think...

Thank you for taking in what I had to say :) If it helps at all, the world is not evil, there is just evil people in it. There is a lot of good people too, and we need to keep hope, because with out that, those good people will be smothered out for as long as we feel hopeless. so...keep hope in the world.

Don't be so hard on yourself because remember we are our own worst critics. He is a loving and forgiving God who just wants a relationship with you. That's all he wants is for u to know that love he has because once u do. U can then show the rest of the world what it so desperately needs and lacks and that's compassion. Much love and I hope and pray you receive what you need today from God himself above.

Thanxxx 4 this! I had never heard this mix. UNKLE is probably my favourite music style. I can't really say band, because The only constant is James Lavelle. I also think that calling UNKLE a "band" kinda cheapens what it is... music. Plain and simple. This was mixed perfectly. I never would have thought these two songs would work together, but that's what makes UNKLE in my mind... a blend of what you don't expect. Peace, Jesse

It has always been my dream to save a life. As you have just shown, you don’t need to be a cop or a hero. You don’t even need to know the person who’s life you have saved. In some little way a life is saved every day even if no one knows about it. Not even the person’s life who has bin saved, or the person who has saved the life of another human. I think that those little things are the most important, if it weren’t for this song then who knows where you (and many others) would be right now.
