I personally met him at an event, OSBL vs GOTG. It was hours before it started, and I kindly asked him for a brief interview. He looked at me and said, “You don’t have enough money to interview me.” Then he chuckled to himself, turned away, and walked about 58 feet to laugh with Holmzie the God about something seemingly unrelated. He had always seemed like such a nice guy, but the way he did me that day-the “you can’t afford me” comment, the chuckle, the dismissive wave before walking off-made me wonder if maybe he needed to be humbled or even humiliated. Throughout the event, I kept an eye on him, trying to figure out if that moment was truly a reflection of who he was or if maybe I just looked broke in his eyes. I didn’t know, but I was determined to find out more about him while I had the chance. I wanted to understand with some level of certainty: was he really the jolly, approachable figure from 15 Minutes of Fame, or was he actually the snob I had just met? After watching him for hours at the event, I concluded that he was probably a content creator with a routine he strictly stuck to. Anything outside of that routine seemed like an annoyance or inconvenience to him. He didn’t appear to want to be there, not even really in the moment. It was all about mindlessly collecting content. Being interviewed by me offered no value for his channel, hence the cold response. Then, after Vada’s blog dropped, it felt like the perfect opportunity to peel back the layers and reveal another side of him.
