If you had a 3D scan model of every object you coat you could use a cnc plotter to cut the adhesive vinyl for masking.

after blasting do you just blown the dust off with air or do you wipe them down with something?

typically they are just blown off but I would say the media will really effect if you can do that or not

How long do you outgas your parts dose it very on the type of metal?

typically an hour at 25-50 above temp, but the metal type does change the variables some

You choose Rim Strip over B17? Any reasons as to why? I have B17...and semi concerned with the new landlord and the smell and it’s corrosive tendencies. They SEEM ok with it all so far.

Rimstrip is basically the same smell, works as well as B17 or maybe better. ITs cheaper and gets delivered fast.

@@UnknownCoatings something that works but doesn't require a business license or other special license. Stripper I use to use for refinishing mahogany doors cant be picked up at the builder supply anymore. I just need something to help reduce blasting time.

another question, can you touch up powder coating by applying powder then heating up with a heat gun? the tire machine damaged a small part of the wheel & would like to touch it up vs re powdercoating the wheel
