Damn I knew he was funny as hell , but who the hell knew he was such a gifted musician.I saw Unknown at a bar in Tampa , he played for 3 hours straight, no break between songs . Then after 3 hours of hard ass work on stage,he met ,signed autographs, and took pictures with everyone for over an hour. He talked for 2-5 minutes with everyone. what a really nice guy he was too . I got my "Booty Hunter" hat signed by both Early Cuyler ,and Unknown Hinson , it's probably worth a fortune now. lol :)

They appear to be factory "toaster top" (single coil, low output) pickups which are standard on some Rickenbacker vintage series guitars (these are the same style/type of pickup used by John Lennon and George Harrison in the early 60's). They are available from Rickenbacker and are a common swap for the newer "hi-gain" style pickup. Rickenbackers sound best played through a Vox tube amp.
