People of South-Asian descent in general aren't viewed positively and nicely across most nations still unfortunately, due to negative portrayal Indians, and people of the subcontinent in general, especially by western media along with the misdeeds and wrong doings committed by us(even if it's way less by percentage actually) is, much more publicized. They also show us in a negative way in a low-key manner in their media and entertainment as well, which also brings down the attractiveness and appeal of the average South-Asian man by a lot, especially in western/western influenced nations. Even East Asian nations were facing such prejudice as well, until their media actually took off and started to influence their image in the minds of other people in those nations. Unfortunately, most men in India refuse to acknowledge this fact and prefer to live in their fantasy
