Cyberpunk 2077 - Nova LUT + Path Tracing | RTX 4090

Not my usual type of content, but this Nova LUT that's been doing the rounds lately had caught my eye. Using the new experimental Supernova variant here.
Mods/settings:
Nova LUT by theCyanideX (Supernova - Experimental 1.2 and Pure 2.0 - ENV PT).
4K 60FPS, graphics settings maxed, Path Tracing w/ DLSS Quality + Ray Reconstruction enabled, Frame Generation disabled.
Hardware:
CPU: Ryzen 9 5950X
GPU: Ventus RTX 4090
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB

Wow. I haven't played Cyberpunk yet, but this is truly on another level. Can't believe how incredible this looks. How far we have come. I'm glad I've waited. I'll wait a little longer, until I get a 4090 or even a 5090, and then play this with graphics mods/ path tracing, in VR.

@@DanielAnderssson I tried it a few months ago. I seriously doubt they will ever manage to catch up. It's kind of like star citizen. The more they try to catch up the deeper the hole gets. Like yeah they make some small improvements but it seems that they come to a halt because the code isn't very flexible. And the more they add on the more difficult it is to clean it up.

Looks unbelievable, really gives me hope for a follow up in years to come, like cd project red have finally nailed it with how they want it to look. Feels like a proper blade runner environment. My only gripe when he was driving through the puddles there was no water splash effects, both visual and acoustically. Really runing the immersion. One day I will buy a 8-10k PC build just to play this game again 😂

I don't get how you guys get the game to look like this. I'm running it at 4k with best mods I can find, DLSS quality and Path tracing. Tried some of the NOVA LUTS and it doesn't look anywhere near as sharp or beautiful as this. It always looks a little grainy or something

Try "Ultra Plus" PT mod ini tweaks. I would use the VRAM .ini that is 2GB below your own. So if you have 12 use 10, etc. If you have 16 and above VRAM i wouldn't worry about it just pick 16 or 24GB whichever you have but with lower VRAM this can help because this game still will go above 10000mb VRAM even when you use 10GB vram .ini it is explained more in the mod comments of people's experience with it.

It seems these 4090 are having a fairly high fail rate with the 4090's overheating, melting, even both...a bit worrying consideting they start to have these issues between around 6-12(+) months from using them.

Absolutely. I get about 35-40 FPS on 4k DLSS Performance with a 3090TI. On 1440P you'll be more than fine with a 4080 especially with Frame Gen.

yes. I have a 4090 laptop which is like 4070ti performance. With Path tracing and FG at DLSS balanced I get about 50 FPS. I'm at 4k btw. At Ultra Wide you will be more than good.
