I saw Petra live with my church youth group in 1991, I believe. I was in middle school and here I am at 44 years old still being blessed by Petra's music even today. The words of God are everlasting and will never fail to bless those who listen. 💛

I think a lot of us have seen God move in such a way. When Petra came out I was just getting reacquainted with the Lord. That was more than 20 years ago and after much tribulation, I have survived. I lost my husband to dementia and lost a lot of friends. But I testify now in 2021 that he is sweeter every day. And hold on, saints, this is a necessary time of grief and sorrow, but God will rise up again in our lives and deliver us from ALL that Satan does to us.

I can't belive that I'm hearing this. I was just alittle girl when I first heard them. I remember jumping around my house and screaming the words and my mom laughing at me. This album was one of my first Christian albumes (tapes) back in the early 90's. My very first was Phil Driscoll's "Warriors" on tape. I played it so often I had to replace it on CD. I have heard, not sure if is genuine, that this album was asked for because there was not youth praise songs written for rock so Petra did an album of mostly rock songs. When the record company heard it, they wanted to distribute it as an individual recording. Very good song, by the way.

Haven’t listened to Petra since the 90s. This was the first rock style music I remember. Then I learned about true rock and metal bands like the big 4 Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer.
