Thanks so much for doing this comp. I'm not unlabeled, but I feel like there is quite a lot of pressure to find the perfect word to describe exactly how you feel. Also I don't often see compilations that include many lesser-known sexualities/gender identities, most of them are just gay, lesbian or binary trans people. Thanks again and happy pride! 🙂💜💚🖤

Yeah, I feel pressured because some people like to say that having a flag makes it a label and etc, when in fact I just don't wanna have anything specific to fall under + no labels felt right to me. So in result I like to say I'm gay or queer as an umbrella term and do or say whatever I want cuz it's still my sexuality at the end of the day ❤️

This is super cool. For most of my life I didn’t have labels just because I didn’t know any existed, and so it’s been more a process of comparing and contrasting ideas I never knew, rather than trying to find a label to define me. If I had been told I didn’t have to choose a label, that would have meant so much to younger me.

That's a great point. I do somewhat identify with labels, but I find them to be more like tools than anything pre- or proscriptive. Like for me they communicate more of an experience than anything about my identity. They've been super helpful in learning more about myself and the experiences of other LGBTQ+ ppl. I'm chill with my labels but I also like queer and unlabeled too, and will identify my self and my experiences differently based on circumstance. I kinda feel like the labels I use just describe aspects of what I experience as something more uniform and holistic

Honestly I've gotten to the point I'm like "I don't know who I am, what sexuality I am or gender I want to be, but I like anyone and I don't care what I'm called." My mom hears this and gets worried cause she wants me to be whoever I am and like not feel like I'm lost. Honestly I'd rather be cause when that happens, I just wander. Edit: but the only thing I know that I'm gray ace, all I know for now.

This was cool. I’m not unlabelled but I think I understand the desire, there is a lot of pressure around choosing labels. I like vague labels: Grey-ace, Queer and Genderqueer are the ones that I go by, partly because they are flexible and allow room to explore because I’m still kinda questioning, especially with gender. The Grey-Ace is pretty stable, I just don’t know what my romantic attraction is.

Omg when on lgbt Reddit I commented under a post that I personally don’t feel the need to label myself as anything and that it often seems pointless to me (for me) to label myself or give it a name because we’re all just human and that’s what most important and when I reminded others that that’s okay too and they don’t need to pressure themselves to label themselves if they didn’t find the right term or felt like it or whatever then I got so many downvotes and someone said “that’s a lot of words for someone who doesn’t wanna give it a name” and I didn’t even know how to respond to that Like I hope it didn’t come across as offensive because I didn’t mean it like that but why are people so mad? I’m abrosexual and abroromantic/somewhere on the aromantic spectrum and since I go through long periods of just being straight it’s for me rather unnecessary to label it every time I have already spend so much time with trying to figure out what I’m even feeling and to accept it, that now I’m just kinda fed up with it and have accepted that I can’t change who I am and what I am anyways and so at this point it doesn’t matter to me anymore Yes, I do say that I’m abrosexual/abroromantic when I’m asked what my sexuality is or often I just say I’m whatever I am in that moment but since I only go through short periods of time where I’m actually into people that are not male, I’d just say “I’m straight” as much I just felt like putting my two cents here

ok SO- I'm genderfluid, all my friends call me by one name and use he/him for me since even though I'm genderfluid, it's what I'm comfortable with. While all the people I don't know like teachers and classmates, call me by a different name and use she/her. Are you still following? Great tysm! So I personally don't care when gender of partner I have, but when it comes to ever getting a boyfriend I feel like its not even an option. I look very masculine (short fluffy hair, masc clothing), and I've never had any guys interested in me because of that. I don't know if any of this made sense- but I'm so just ahhhidkjvsndfa!! In my experience, the unlabeled community is very welcoming and aren’t strict on “rules to being unlabeled” So I think that you can use the term unlabeled if that’s what makes you comfortable

I am technically bisexual however bisexuality is usually thought of as a person liking men and women, an alternative definition is a person liking more than one gender (accounting for genders outside the binary). I have personally discovered that I like all genders excluding men. I wish there was a label for this but I just cant find it, if you know one then please tell me. For the time being I will just be unlabeled.

I found an umbrella term called "femaric" that kinda sounds like what you're talking about. Femaric is the term to describe "any non-straight attraction to women or feminine aligned people". Does this help?

I love you for making this video!!! I feel like this is just the perfect one to describe me, but it’s not really popular, so thank you really much for making this! I feel like it makes me anxious to put myself in some sort of box, and it’s just easier to be free and do what ever I want. Also I think many people think that being unlabeled means you are questioning your sexuality or your sexuality is not “ready”. But for me I think it’s gonna be a for life decision.
