This is great, thank you. Can we manage prompts somehow? For instance, I don't see how to delete a prompt. What if user made a typo and wanted to edit it, or the prompt is not relevant anymore. Maybe management has issues with a prompt, how to remove them?

Yes. In the current version: An admin can delete prompts from the manager tab. (On backlog: Users can delete their own prompts)

This is great Stuart and Erik. Thank for you creating and sharing it!. A question or two for you. I have tailored it by adding additional category types and categories (done via the Manager App and editing the relevant tables in Power Apps. Have also generated and added cover images for the new categories. If I apply a new version of the app will my edits be retained? If not, what is the process to retain customisations made?

Just a quick question, it seems my organization has disabled the Power Apps app in Teams so I can't add it in the same way with what you explained in the video. As an alternative I'm thinking of importing your app in Power Apps as a canvas app and add the app URL as a tab of a Teams channel, but the import of the app failed with only a general message: Something went wrong. Do you know if this is a supported way to use your app, or do you have any other recommendations for my situation? Thanks again!

This is fantastic, thank you for sharing. One question if I may, if we create the Prompt Buddy in an individuals account and they leave the firm, will this break the prompt buddy app? As I assume it will be authenticating the owner and connections in that account. If so, is there a way to overcome this?

Yes you can! There is a table called Campaign Categories. You can remove it or rename there. Just don't remove the App one or it will cause some technical challenges.

I find it very cool. The only thing I can think of is regarding Data Privacy. What if a user submits a prompt and includes confidential or pii data in the prompt, that other users shouldn't be able to see ?

Why do I find it so difficult to find how to do an update to the latest version? I know I must be missing something. It seems like you have to start all over, but once I've set it up - I don't have the import a file option. Is there somewhere within the app I go to apply the new zip file?

When importing prompts, do we need to include an ID for the prompt? If so, how should we generate this for prompts that haven't previously been manually added?

No ID needed. You're good to go 👍 Simply delete or omit the ID row completely. Prompts only receive an ID after having been added and/or exported.

Somewhat related to my previous comment. I've exported my customized version as a solution from within Power Apps in Teams and imported this as a solution into a new Teams site. However it does not import with the customizations, it always imports as the base non-customized version. I've also tried export solution from Power Apps web portal - publishing all customizations first then exporting as an unmanaged solution and then importing this solution into Teams by following the steps in this video. Still I get the base version and not my customized version. What am I doing wrong?

Wonderful tutorial. One bit of feedback. If I create a new category called "ChatGPT" which includes an image in the persona section and then move the category to the apps section the image breaks and I need to reupload it. Also, after I create a new category, for example "ChatGPT" it will not let me tag it. The button to apply the tag is grayed out until I select one of the other preexisting categories. I can tag ChatGPT and Copilot but I cannot tag the category ChatGPT on its own.

Great clip, but this is now missing a few things as likely Teams has been updated. For example, the importing of zip file steps are different for my Enterprise Version of Teams now, there is no line to click import, you have to drop down from upper right to select that.

The solution file is invalid. The compressed file must contain the following files at its root: solution.xml, customizations.xml, and [Content_Types].xml. Customization files exported from previous versions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 are not supported. It appears that the .zip file doesn't contain an XML file. Am I doing something wrong?

Fantastic app! Unfortunately I can't 'Submit prompts' in the app. The button stays grayed-out and there is a sentence at the bottom which says 'You must add at least one app tag'. How can I solve this?

You can tags when you submit your prompt. It must be aligned to at least one app. So if you have a Word prompt it needs to have Word listed in the drop down box. If you’ve only aligned it to a department or persona you need to add an app. You can add more than one tag.

@@ProductivityCoach Yes, though the app tags are simply a list of the current categorys created. Is that correct?

@@kingbtucker Not quite. The tags are any of the categories e.g. App, Persona, Department. You don't have to tag with Personas or Departments but you do have to tag with at least one app e.g. Copilot (M365), Copilot (web), Word etc.
