Really have to give props to the rhythm section on this album. Some really chef’s kiss parts sprinkled all around.

I feel like this is definitely a continuation of what they did on Abyss. I’ve enjoyed all three tracks, this one in particular. I will say they are definitely growers. Excited for the album and hope you guys review it.

I wasn’t a fan of the first two singles but I loved this song. Thankfully the full album is great and I grew to appreciate Green and Glass and Ghost in the Mist alot

First thanks guys for always reacting to UTA and helping get them the exposure they deserve. I felt these releases were missing something too upon first hearing. I think I speak for many when I say I'd really like to see them bring back some of that dirty death metal from the early days. We all know they have the talent to do some really fresh things with the genre, things that could potentially be ground breaking. So it begs the question, why wont they do it?! That said, I strongly encourage everybody to listen to the full album now that it's dropped because honestly, the more I listen the more I get it. Yes they went the other direction but now that my brains had time to adjust, Phantoma is hands down some of their best work IMO. (Firing some shots) I'm hard pressed to say Phantoma is better than Apex or at the very least better than Time Stands Still. Yeah I said it lol. The feeling in this album is simply next level. I really feel they're honing their skills even more and becoming mature songwriters if that makes sense. I still think they're going to get heavier in the next album, especially if they're listening to the fans. So that's something to look forward to but I really hope people come to appreciate this album because its a banger!! Cheers! 🍻

very melody based for this album, this song i put on in the car... the song finished and i hadn't even heard it - it got drowned out as i was concentrating as apposed to their older stuff where i would have to figure out how i actually got to work.

I agree that feelings on the music is completely subjective. I personally have loved all the singles so far and got to listen to the full album last night. (Preorder got delivered early) So to anyone that isn't feeling it, nothing wrong with that. BUT...don't say that the band is "less" just because their music has shifted and doesn't sound "like the old stuff" or isn't to your personal taste. Temper that rhretoric and just say it wasn't for you, that's a respectable kind of statement.

I really love this song because of it's 80s style. But i love UtA and Power Metal in general and i get your view. I guess we have to wait to get a lot more whole picture....

I ❤ the older stuff.

I maybe get hammered for this, but have you ever considered that it´s the vocals? I mean, she´s good at what she does, but to me they need more power the vocals in this type of power metal, especially on this track. I don´t know if it´s the YT version, but the vocals seems very buried in the mix on this one. I like what they are trying to do with the harsh vocals in the background though.

I think the most important thing that is missing is speed. The other issue I think is these new 3 songs are so repatitive and in a way predictable what is coming in the song. Nowhere close to Apex neither to Abyss. And that is sad.

It’s a cool song. Two toes don’t expect Lorna Shore all the time 😂

For me I still like all the new singles but since Brittney had her baby I feel like the whole sound has changed into a softer motherly sound. Maybe shes getting soft idk

One thing I noticed, especially in this song, is the mixing seems off. Maybe it's just me, but the guitars are slightly overpowering the drums/vocals.

🤔 Thought I read somewhere that they used AI to help write this album. Maybe that’s why all of these singles are so lackluster. 🤷🏻♂️
@brendansmith99464 ай бұрын
No. They used AI for the video of ONE song. Just the video.

So far im not impressed either too bland. Britneys vocals sounded buried in the mix.

Totally agree the mixing is horrid this album and I think Abyss too but I will say the more I listen to the album the more I like it. I might even put this album over Apex but under Abyss no joke but still deciding.

I mean it's better, but won't be added to the Playlist. Just feels very uninspired and completely lacks the energy found on the first two records.

I thought the same first hearing, also for Ghosts In The Mist. Just wasnt what I was hoping for, or so I thought. Since I've been listening to the album on Spotify however and have adjusted my brain to the vibe, the whole album is SUCH a banger, including Seeking Vengeance. The solos in this are insane. Yeah it's not as in your face but dude the melody and feeling in this album is on another level and there's even some tracks that totally have Apex vibes. I encourage everyone to listen to the album through now that it's dropped!
