Another thing Skullcrackers and Iron Daemons is that they're missing their RSE tag, so you can spam 4 of them. This seems to be an oversight from CA because most Terror Warmachines have RSE tag (Doomwheel, Steam Tank)

Dunno that AA missle is kinda OP. The fact that it doesn't miss garantees the value and damadge which is insane in competative sence. It would actually say it is almost op. I played against it once and was shocked how insanely it performed.

Yeah they're also fairly easy to defend because of their firing arc and being a single entity. The only downside is they deal damage pretty slowly.

Imrik should absolutely dumpster that sorceror prophet in a fight. Non-legendary lord thats a caster and with missile attack? He spent most of the battle fighting him or anti-infantry war machines, he should have gotten insane value.

They are daemonic bulls of fire and ash, wreathed in fire and heat so hot the weapons that are used against them melt. No slouch creatures in the lore of warhammer, with stats comparable to dragons in the table-top.

I'd really like to see Skullkrackers against Dwarfs. With their huge stats, anti-infantry bonus and high HP, they could be very good at not only running over dwarf infantry, but dueling dwarf characters- especially if you get that 20% physical resistance and perfect vigour, and bring a daemonsmith to heal them.

I had a match-up like that and the answer is yes, very very tough to deal with them for the dwarf player as the skullcrackers can smash through dwarf melee lines and go straight to the missile units while doing a lot of damage in the process. So slayers with thundererers are an obvious response but not enough on their own, it takes good micro/positioning and probably a runemaster with slowness rune

I think another reason to pick War lions over Other HE cav is armour piercing against Chaos Dwarfs. Other cav would struggle to do any damage to these siege engines.

I just wish the trains had neutral steering. You sometimes give them a shoot order and they stand still with their rear towards the enemy. Also would make their massive turn radius smaller. Deathshrieker is pretty good but it starts shooting so late. Most arty start off loaded and ready to fire but it seems the crew only starts loading the rocket once they get an attack order (after which they have to aim, slow missile velocity). First missile lands once most arty have already shot their second or third volley.

He should have gooned out that rocket battery, I don't think he expected the absolute level of target tracking they have. His micro was pretty good otherwise.

The HE build looked really cool but I think it struggled to hold pressure on the points. I'm not sure what unit is the solution that also fits the build though

Some cheaper infantry to give capture weight would have been good. Shadow warrios are not great against armor and very expensive.

For sure you axe the shadow walkers and at least 1 or 2 of the shadow warriors. Maybe bring 2 sisters in reserve? He took one but brought them out a little late and they were doing great. They'd be able to do huge damage to the lord and trains and could have helped press them off the points so you can massacre their infantry with your dragons. I wonder if Colin was expecting centaur GWs and magma cannons like in the last patch, it seems like it'd work better against that style of play

really dont like some of the mechanics off chaos dwarfs, compared to the rest, i feel that everything thats good about them is just what other things would be if they where made op, like magma cannons is just overpowered se mortar, rocket here is just op doom divers, their bursters are just op dwarf rifles, their manticore bull is just on overpowered manticore, etc. none of cdwarfs seems enjoyable to me; i always enjoy these cast they are awesome ':D just my view of cdwarfs :P edit: i love the heavier missile play we see these days when 2-3 unit of missiles are online for long periods of time, looks so nice

Yea honestly I’m wondering this too, why wouldn’t he just go after the deathshriek? He had three dragons before the archers were anywhere near in melee, why not just give the point for 30 seconds and goon it?

@@akai3294 I am the HE player in the vid :) The dragon wouldn't have killed it quickly enough before he could summon in blunderbusses or get his trains and his lord on my dragon. He can also retreat it back into the forest where my dragon can't get onto it. While the rocket launcher did get a lot of value, a lot of it was healed back by my regrowth caster.

It's too easy to use. Just click on a target and hey, you've countered 1400-3000 value, lol. Chaos cannon has the same role, but not that strong. Not broken. Maybe deathshriek need some range nerf by design that cannon MUST do his work, pounding shots on a large monsters - but now it is too strong and easy to use. CA needs to nerf easiness of use, not a strength of this weapon, but I dunno how((

I'd argue that the Iron Daemons did an amazing job by making it impossible for the HE to try to go after the rocket launcher not to mention the bluff in the forest possiby conceeling blunderbusses or ironglaves

One Regrowth does 0.80% healing for 29 seconds. Chalice of Blood and Darkness gives 0.80% healing for 13 seconds. So when your opponent casts two spells, your Chaos Dwarf Sorcerer almost gets a free Regrowth. Clearly this needs to be nerfed somehow. I also though the Deathshrieker homing missile is too accurate. There is no skill involved for either player when you can reach across the map and hit every shot.

in my experience chaos dwarfs feel broken still? is it just me? its like instant melt blunderbusses, OP centaurs, magma canon half health your good calv in 1 shot, dreadquake "dont even try bringing cheap capture wieght spam" mortars, top end lords. its stupid

Because blunderbusses are pretty easy to disrupt with fast cav, Bull centaurs are strong, but def not broken anymore, magma cannon will only do that much damage if you’re not dodging shots with the cav, and the mortar is too expensive to bring against almost anything. The mortar gets focused down and won’t really do much if it just shoots cheap capture weight spam

The whole point of chaos dwarfs is quality of quantity you can absolutely overwhelm the chaos dwarfs. Everything in their roaster is super expensive! So they better be good if they are gonna cost a arm and a leg and and it makes sense that with their low population their stuff would be good.

That's probably the best self healing item in the game. Not sure if it be compared to Ariel or Isabella's items because those can heal others.

It's practically a Regen that heals in bursts without the fire resistance penalty, which would be mostly negated by the default chorf fire resistance. That's not unique or OP, chorfs are known to be a faction whose Lords are hard carries, like at least a third of the factions out there, so if you don't bring the right tools to deal with it then it's no wonder you lose. You don't brush your teeth with a shovel, you don't fight chorfs without having lord-sniping schemes and tools at the ready. Simple as.

Hello deathshriek, hello cheap astragot with his OP stats. They even have blunderbusses, but they at least have low range. Wanna win chorfs with masses? But they have second to none good tools to kill infantry masses from all ranges. Elite infantry? Magma cannons laugh in 2000 value per summon. Wanna kill them with cav/monstrous infantry? Hello bull renders with broken animations and hitboxes. Just tell me about their weaknesses and effective tactics against - in that video you've seen how Imrik, one of the best warriors in the universe, on a fricking star dragon, with 2 other dragons - died to some chuhchuh trains, deathshriek "one click to counter any large unit" rocket launcher and a shortboi on a literally flying cow. Is that fair? U can kill chorfs only if they starting army completely mistaken of your starting troops, so they didn't have momentum to counter all your moves from start. That's how it work on a players with about equal skills.

Too long to kill the rocket launcher - counter units would've been summoned. And hadres can just... dismiss the rocker launcher, when dragon would already benn caught on a bad positioning
