Thanks for asking @EAGauss - absolutely perfectly! Made another houmous 2 days ago and does the job superbly - we wash it in the dishwasher and the mixer end is still really clean brushed chrome and looks like new... Hope this helps and thanks again!

I think pulsing the mixer (when having small quantities) prevents the stuff getting stuck on the walls.

Hi - thanks for the kind question, hope I'm understanding it correctly. I made the hommous using the hand tool only - I don't think the blender bowl would blend the chickpeas enough. Hope this helps! This is my hommus recipe here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/habCk2SggdiJmK8

Do like I do pick it up and shake it just hold the motor and cup your hand under the bowel and shake, works for me.

Looks like the 10 year warranty is for the motor, but the (ceramic) coupler, is only 2 years. A coupler transfers rotation from the motor to the blades - if broken, doesn't work. also read somewhere if the coupler is plastic, it melts and leaks in the food
