The author needs to do a bit more research or consult a military expert about weapon systems and their effects. A grenade may disable a light duty vehicle but it certainly wouldn’t destroy an suv, bus, and hummer even if it exploded near the fuel tank, Only on hollywood do grenades blow up in a fiery fashion. in reality all you will see is a puff of black smoke and perhaps some impacts as shrapnel flies out. Also, no one with knowledge of firearms uses the term assault rifle, it’s a derogatory political term used by anti-constitutionalists.

Don't go listening to reviews because I can tell you, absolutely honestly, as someone who loved English through school and university, that I find your stories really enjoyable and if someone is posting bad reviews on your Amazon page, I would think it was sour grapes and could possibly be someone you know who is jealous that you are actually selling your work. Please don't take it to heart because its more than likely someone who wouldn't know the difference between good and bad prose if they found it in their breakfast cereal!

I can't find the series with Dan,Ash and Leah anymore. It was uploaded by a channel out of Thailand and then it was gone. It was a fairly good series even though Dan was a moron, and condemned the prison settlement to death and Leah was a bullshit, over exaggerated character. A 13 yr old girl essentially became a navy seal, ninja, military strategist and tactician and sniper in under a year... yeah right.

Im going blind an cant see chit out of one eye. So glad i kept searching. Hard to find good end of days books. One main thing that bothers me THOUGH. I think of details alot an one detail that is never brought up in any of THESE stories is... NOT ONE DARN THING ABOUT THE POWER PLANTS GOING DOWN AN WHATS HAPPENS WHEN ALL THE RADIATION LETS LOSE. We all know that will be a major factor when SHTF. SO WHAT, I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO EVERYTHING WITH THAT ADDED IN. That being said I LOVE these books. Up in Iowa i stay stuck inside alot. I am NOT an inside kinda gal an its driving me bonkers. Well that an the constant spine pain. Lol. These help me escape myself THANK YOU

This story has a lot of moments where you have to suspend disbelief. "The mechanic crawled out from under the truck where he had been using a hose to change the oil" Any military personnel who used the word "clip" spent a lot of time in the front leaning rest position. Heavy sigh........ Still a very good story. He just needs a proof reader.

For those of us, who are hunters, I would much rather deal with mutated dogs than zombies or a virus that kills the humans!! Now that I am about one hour into this. It is kind of confusing if they are dealing with dogs why did they not just drive the vehicles up to the school fight the dogs off get the people and leave? I mean no matter how you look at it they’re going to have to fight the dogs.so many things that just operationally do not make much sense and somewhat cheesy which is kind of nice

No, highly doubt it. Judging by the clunky & illogical dialogue, how unprepared their C.O was to departing (* having to load trucks etc) despite knowing details of mission and a C.O never would overlook a mission briefing even if he/she knew all details. Can say, 99.99% certainty, that this was written by a civilian. And that's okay, at least there's no stolen valor in this work of fiction. Only barely 15 minutes in btw, debating whether to continue listening.

The best plan would have been to leave 2 or 3 soldiers on the bus while the rest of the soldiers made contact with the school refugees. Then when the school was ready to evacuate, the soldiers in the bus could have driven almost up to the the school doors, refugees load up and they get out of town.
