@ScottMedburyAuthor Have you thought about Angel Studios? You could crowd fund these books into movies or a full series in absolutely no time. The Angel Guild would pass this in a second! Please look into it because watching this onscreen would be incredible..I'm talking Walking Dead incredible. Zombies might be passed their time but End Of The World is not!

I think with the “woke” culture we have now that a tv show featuring racial genocides wont go over very well. It’s an amazing series and I wouldn’t change anything about it but that’s just my thoughts if it were to get picked up for a live action show.

This book really needs to be a movie. It had me on edge to point where I cried when Jack and his sister finally got free from the horrible man and flames. I’m only at 2:18:46 but just this far in has me crying. Your narrating is amazing for this book. The voices you do are unique and bring an even more amazing light on your narrating. I’ve been listening to this audiobook for 45 minutes a day and it’s like time slows down when I hear the story from you. I’ll definitely be sure to listen to your other narrations

Welcome! Scott has created a community here where we, the fans, can have positive interactions with each other. He sets the example for how individuals should treat each other by his replies to the (very few and far between) rude and or comments left. He is always polite and encouraging regardless of how nasty the individual is being. We don't know each other outside of the comment sections for each book, but we do respect Scott and each other.

@@ScottMedburyAuthor- Please forgive the idiotic question… but I have a thing against recurring payments, I once trialed Audible and tried to stop, and they just kept billing me, even changed (cancelled #) a credit card because of it, and Audible evidently pulled a credit report and started billing another. Where can I buy the audio files? Either on CD or downloadable files as I like to listen while driving.

The book is amazing, and your writing skills mixed with the narrator have had me hooked on the book. (Literally wrote two different things for two different people) I’m considering buying the series to keep in my mini library as a token of happiness because the book got me caught in another world. I was hooked and on edge yearning for the safety of the characters, despite them being fictional.

Whoops I just realized halfway in that I’m listening to book seven. When I should be starting on book 1. It’s crazy though, because this book has flashbacks/explanations of what happens so I didn’t even need to hear/read the others to understand the backstory and what’s happening. I love that about this book series.

SPOILER ALERT - Do not read this comment if you are less than halfway through this book. - I am enjoying this audio book just as much as I did the first six, which is to say A LOT. but I have one question and one comment so far: Question: Jack buried his friend Danny, a kind and decent thing to do, but why didn't he bury the poor kid in the trash bin too? Comment: A Chinese soldier has a knife at my sister's throat. I have a bolt-action rifle pointed at him, a HUGE advantage. Even at the age of 12, I could have taken the shot and put a round through his skull. This kid is 15 and has had practice at a shooting range (as had I). Take the shot, kid!

If you notice .. overall as a series . People hesitate to kill others even under duress .. which I guess might make sense since most protagonists are 17 yo give or take .. but the sad honest fact is they’d have learned or does by the second time . Never ever leave an enemy alone behind you .
@jamesmetzler745
@jamesmetzler745 Жыл бұрын
@@nathanhollingsworth413 I agree with you. as a kid, I would have been very hesitant to take another life - Until it came to my family. Was I a cold-blooded killer at the age of 12? No. Am I a cold-blooded killer now? No. I've never killed another human being in my life and hopefully, I'll never have to. But in that situation, I would take the shot. As a kid, I would have been haunted by nightmares for months afterwards. Today, I wouldn't lose a minute's sleep over it. The Chinese soldier would mean nothing to me. He was just an enemy intent on doing harm to me or my family. What would haunt me to my grave is reliving the memory of that nameless enemy taking the life of my loved one while I, with the means to stop him held in my hands, stood there and did nothing.

@@jamesmetzler745 I believe this is the way the author is creating tension, which is a bit of a cliché and can be found a lot in movies too. Somehow, enemies are left alive just to come back and do some more damage 🤔

Idk what is but I've listened to this series multiple times other either have no character development or too much or drone on about issues to fill pages & never conx. If any got title suggestions doesn't matter if it's on YT I'd very much appreciate it. There is this other EMP book about a cowboy/rancher trying to get back to his small ranch where his son is or is w/his son, memory fades but it's lil town out west nestled by mountains. Even the prologue is about a couple visiting & them politely they'd go mad after a week. Towards the middle end of one book they introduce a self adsorb narcissist who is described as blonde blue handsome killer in jail, w\ emp few ppl guards come to feed them some he manipulates him to open the cell & escapes, well written cus he practically be anyone &is manipulative. It was on YT prob still but i never saved it. It's a books couple long but worth it imo. Ty & Happy 25!
