I feel like the HAL frame is the Rubiconian version of the midweight VP frame. The stats, the asymmetrical design, the use case. I've started running dual DUCKETT with VP-46S arms as the mid and light VP arms are the next best melee arms to BASHO, which can't handle DUCKETT, and LD with AA. Bullet drone added for more stagger and stagger damage. The core I've been messing with either ALBA with or VP-40S. I will admit I kinda need the 40S with the NACHT legs taking the stability hit...which I might add was completely unnecessary. They just should have upped the stability and jump (even more than now) of the other light legs. My HARRIS build absolutely uses those HAL arms...the best overall for higher recoild actual mid range weapons.

haven't made it to s promos myself yet this season but I am about halfway through A4. Hopefully, you get it, i think I failed like 10+ s promos mainly because I really didn't care to get S as both season 2 and 3 I got it and haven't really cared to get it back since. Edit: That duckett lamm had about 11k AP, ~1170 Defence, 1971 stability, 353 boost speed (and 375 when legs are deployed). Edit 2: Grats S those matches were good!

Honestly felt the same way past couple seasons not caring about S too much, kinda didn’t care this season either until the other night I felt like getting back in it. Can be a rlly frustrating process sometimes and almost feels like rng with the matches you get in promos, whether it’s a super meta S player or an A4 with an honest build. There’s a spot for you in S tho bro don’t let up on the grind! So mad about that Duckett lamm lmao, pretty interesting to see the stats tho, definitely think I could’ve played it a lot better 😅

you gotta get off hal arms, move to c3, melander, or firmeza. You can fit verrill head on firmeza/c3 or an alba head with melander. better stats regardless, the recoil control difference/firearm spec difference is negligible with ocellus. Firmeza arms + verrill will net you more speed and similar defensive stats with more ap, and identical en load. c3 arms + verrill will give you better target tracking, speed, en load, defenses, and ap at the cost of slightly less recoil control. melander arms+ alba head will net you slightly better stats across the board; en, recoil, ap, defenses, en, weight, all of it, save for slightly worse firearm spec. for more stability you can swap in the options with verrill head for vp-44d head and get to 1690 stability with lighter en/weight. for example, c3 arms and 44d head will get you 400+ more en efficiency. cheers
