Thanks for covering this, and appreciate the shoutout Shinblade! Should have noted it in the video, but the timing for the cancel is different for ub3 specifically haha, you likely would have gotten it sooner if I’d mentioned that! Hope the tech is useful for some of you out there 🙏

MY HANDS HURT!!! lol for sure no problem family, yeah it’s very useful especially if you know how to instantly go into PKB and do a command. I’m struggling there right now
@Nearsid3d_BC9 ай бұрын
Found out there’s two different windows to enter it after ub+3. You can either time it to where the right fist starts Lowering immediately at the chest are or you can wait till the right fist is starting to rise immediately from the hip. Recorded a bunch of Xbox clips incase anyone wanted to see.

From my testing shin, wr2,2 works pretty damn well if you have 3+4 as a bind for the cancel. So after db3,2, or wr2,2,b1,2 anything that transitions into lionheart other than ub3, its been hella consistent with the f3:3+4 tech where 3+4 is binded. Although the timing is strict,my visual cue is the right hand mostly. Hope this helps!

Oh really nice, Ill have to see how I would bind it because I play claw
@Strangz_ODT9 ай бұрын
Found a pretty consistent method for stick players. Hold forward after the lion heart transition like Shin said then I have 3+4 set to R1 and either plink from 3 to the 3+4 with your thumb and ring finger, or press both that the same time but angle your hand so your thumb hits first

gonna be in the lab with this over the weekend! thanks shinblade and thanks poultry, can't wait to be able to use strings that go LIH and not get my mixup stolen edit: an addendum to make this easier! 2:11 WATCH STEVE'S FEET after you do something like b2 or f2,2. you should be pressing forward instantly after the input, then as soon as you see steve's feet about to line up, hit your 3:4. on gamepad a quickslide will do it, on stick/hitbox hit a 3:4 in very fast succession (a flam for all you drummers out there) i was able to get this down and gauge the timing in a matter of minutes this way!

Hell yeah. Glad you covered this
@johngibbons26469 ай бұрын
On pad or controller this input is easier if you have a trigger button be 3+4. Thay way you dont have to slide the button. The foward 3 must be hit at the correct time but the 3+= can be delayed slightly from frame 4-8 and still come out. What i found that almost no matter how late i input i could still get it. But the problem is when i was trying to speed it up
@ShinBladeTV9 ай бұрын
I believe it'll be easier to do on stick because you have to instantly go into a move while in PKB to make this effective
@johngibbons26469 ай бұрын
@ShinBladeTV I don't know if this is easier on stick or not but one if the benefits of going into pkb is the ability to block after going into LH. Since you're already inputting toward holding forward will allow you to block incoming power crushes. You'll both return to a neutral position but you won't be at a losing state that LH puts you in against PC. Obviously would rather use the punch parry and grab to beat it but PC is no longer the absolute correct Answer to LH.

I noticed you can go off the start of the little shuffle sound he makes for the timing.

You don’t exclusively HAVE to start with 3 before 3 + 4. You can start on 4 and go to 4 + 3 as well. I figured this out on accident a few weeks ago doing it this other way.
@manofchicken14559 ай бұрын
Another thing to note is i believe this only works if the F3 is only in your input history for a single frame. Its one frame of F3 plinked into 3+4.

I agree on the match thing, but two things I noticed trying it Watch the feet gotta wait longer than you think, after he turns left in LH starts shifting feet hit both F3, F3+4 together almost plinking - it’s actually not that bad but in a match I personally prefer to play simple
@Edcas122610 ай бұрын
Disregard if you just up cancel you can do it whenever it isn’t hard

I’m not the greatest Steve main or anything but the fact I hit this felt like God was shining light upon me 🤣🤣 I have my Rb on controller bound as 3+4 Holding forward truly does help. In lion heart while holding forward I press almost simultaneously 3 with my bound (3+4). I’ve been getting it with some decent consistency. Instead of waiting for his right hand to get to his hip, soon as the downward motion starts is when input. My apologies that wasn’t the best description but I’m sure everyone has their own little niche when it comes to it. Another little thing that helped which I’m experimenting now is it that the input should be done before Steve finishes the phrase “over here” Correction there’s different timings for it. It can work before and after Steve saying “over here”

not sure if just me . but if you have controller. bind 3+4 to R2 or RT ( xbox or ps4) . you can just hold F and smash 3 and 3+4 bind all together .

for anyone wondering, it HAS to be a 1 frame f3 or it will NOT work. if your on pad like me it cannot be a long button press at all. i have to do this playing claw and it has to be a quick tap of 3,4. thats just what works for me. i get 7/10 tries

Seems unintentional as i think they would be explained in the move list. Be nice if they made it just F3+4 to enter it, as its not broken or anything the main advantage is using the throw to he power crush, or to block with Peakaboo

This is ridiculous really. We should just be able to cancel with db like all his other stances. They can remove that autoparry from LH stance because no one's falling for it and it takes way too long to activate. Or just makes his move more plus on frame so nobody can interrupt it.. He doesn't even have a low option on that stance ffs

I swear if they nerf this and use the "unintended behaviour " line before they fix Steve's b1, that's gonna be annoying, ironically I rather them just remove this and give us back tekken 7 steve 😫 I need my ch launchers back 💀

You can still beat this by ducking and it is just frame execution.. I think people are overhyping this find.
@sirm.a.r.s464010 ай бұрын
Ducking gets you yetted by two options from LH. In peak, you can get launched or mid checked if ducking. Even if you fuzzy guard . Steve has ways to cover it, but due to how hard It is and how good other people tools are, it's not worth it my opinion. It's swag points like hitting people with omens
@EraseTime10 ай бұрын
49 tries? Bro i got like in 2 😂 Anyway it's not reliable to apply. The problem with Steve is that every choice you make, when you plus on hit like b1,2 punish people can beat every option with rage art or powercrush if you go for 1 of the 3 options in LH. But you shouldn't have an Hard read of the opponent every time he does something. When you are plus you have to take my mixup, not that i have to guess again what you will do..
