I recently discovered my Xbox 360 & Xbox OG games THAT ARE DOWN LOADED ONTO MY XBOX SERIES X INTERNAL HARDRIVE, have played many times b4, no longer will load up. My Xbox Series X games, like Halo Infinite, Halo 5, Halo Master Chief collection, will. NONE.of these games are loaded onto the hard drive, put the game in, it starts auto downloading. Control, a Xbox One game, is not loaded, I put the disc in, it starts downloading automatically. (All are physical disc copies) Mass Effect trilogy loads up and plays. (Physical disc copy) The Witcher 3, Diablo IV Atomic Heart, Greed fall, Fallout 4 (go figure smh) loads and plays. (Physical disc copies) Xbox 360 games, F.E.A.R, F.E.A.R 2, F.E.A.R files, Brute Force, Prey (original 360), Fight Night champion , Skyrim : definitive Edition, (physical disc copies)...won't play. Movies, Blu rays like Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Gemini Man, won't play, but a DVD ?? STAR WARS (smh Disney, go figure) will play? Listen: This IS NOT A HARDWARE ISSUE, what this is is a SOFTWARE ISSUE, as in The Xbox Platform has released a software update that prevents these games that once did play, NO LONGER DO PLAY. The reason in my mind is DESPERATION by The Xbox Platform, and to encourage me to PAY FOR GAMES by DIGITAL PURCHASES, to encourage me to go COMEPLETELY DIGITAL on The Xbox Platform. Microsoft, understand this: I WILL NEVER EVER EVER DOWNLOAD A GAME I HAVE A PHYSICAL COPY OF , IS LOADED ON MY XBOX SERIES X INTERNAL HARDRIVE, AND HAVE PREVIOUSLY PLAYED MANY MANY TIMES already smh, NEVER !!! What's going to happen is this: I'm going to build a PC , once my PC is ready, I will be moving to The PC platform, I will no longer be in The Xbox ecosystem , and u will have lost another customer, for good Period end of story. Btw, I WILL HAVE MY PC UP AND RUNNING BEFORE November 2024, and the release of CORE GAME Stalker 2 :Heart of Chernobyl. The Xbox controller is compatible, that's the last thing I buy thats Xbox related. You made a gross error in judgement, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY XBOX SERIES X HARDWARE, i PLAY TESTED IT WITH MANY GAMES,.. THIS IS A SOFTWARE ISSUE, as in a UPDATE FROM MICROSOFT THAT PREVENTS ME FROM PLAYING 360 GAMES OFF DISC, MOVIES OFF DISC, TO ENCOURAGE, BULLY ME INTO CHANGING MY MIND ABOUT THE WAY I GAME AND WHAT MY PREFERENCE IS. P.s. with the new ps5 is going all digital for 700 bucks. They're both hitting a wall. It's the industry as a whole. So dont blame one company more then another. It's a woke virus that infiltrated and won't let go. Threatening developers with "cancelation " and false accusations because that's all these woke idiots got. Gaming as a whole has taken a hit.
