I'm a father myself, first child. The moment she was born, I've made a promise to myself, that I will never let my girl down. Although it's pretty much the opposite of this song, but it still hits in the right place.. There is much passion in your songs, in your lyrics, I love your work. I guess there's one thing worth mentioning: sometimes parents are proud of you, even if you think they aren't, but it's because they simply don't know the right way to show it.

I've listened to this song throughout the four years. I still hold it close to me. My mom worked her ass off for me. Especially since my dad was never present. First off, I began listening to you're music almost 2 years ago, and I have always loved and empathized with the genuine way in which you recapture and express your feelings through these songs. You are clearly passionate about these lyrics and how you present them, it's a great mix that never disappoints. I'm always left feeling some intense emotions after these songs end. That being said, I stumbled upon this one and was suddenly reliving so many feelings and memories I've had over the past few years. This song, to me, was a whirlwind of ups and downs, and in the end reminded me that no matter what, you push through not just for yourself but for them (the ones who push us to be our best, accept who we have chosen to be, and the some who dissapprove but still wish us success.
