I can't even begin to express how much your music means to me, but I'll try. I first heard your music about two or three years ago, and I was instantly hooked. The deep emotions - rage, grief, hope - in your songs struck a chord with me. "Angry" music always has made me feel seen. But I could never pinpoint why I was so angry, why I felt such a strong connection to your music. Until last month - memories of being SA'd as a child resurfaced, memories I had buried so deep in my psyche. My childhood trauma is the root of my rage and needing to use my voice to fight for myself. I'm still processing all the rage and grief that has come with this revelation, but your music - and this song in particular - has been a huge part in letting myself feel the anger I wasn't allowed to feel or express as a child. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your music and your emotions with the world - it's helped people like me become more in touch with our own emotions.
