"Unlikely" - Sermon Series through the book of Judges

During a dark time in Israel’s history when all the countries around them had mighty and capable Kings at the lead, God raised up the most unlikely - the weak, the broken, the old, the outcasted and the unconfident - to save His people. Why such an unlikely way to lead Israel? Because then there is NO doubt that God is behind Israel’s success and only He gets the glory:
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise and the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things-and the things that are not-to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. (1 Corinthians 1:27-29)
