Great video! I have played around with a few designs and found that the atmospheric condenser can produce three full canisters of gas in the time it takes the research chamber to finish with one of them. The most efficient setup I came up with was: an XL platform C w/ three research chambers on it, a large platform A w/ atmo condenser on it, and an auto arm on a medium platform that puts the finished gas canisters onto two medium storages on one end of the XL platform C. Set the research chambers to auto mode but don't power them until each one has a gas canister waiting to go AND you have at least 1 gas canister on the storage. As long as you pick a planet & gas with 100 PPU concentration, you will be researching 3 gas canisters at the same rate they are generated. It used a little more power (27 U/s) then a design w/ a single research chamber (23 U/s), but you get 3x the bytes / minute and it uses gas at the same rate as it makes it.

The XL platform C will exactly fit the atmospheric condenser as well as the 3 research chambers. The gas will transfer automatically from the atmospheric condenser to one of the research chambers as soon as it's empty. Then you don't need an auto arm so you're technically saving 1 u/s of power.

Haha honestly i make scrap farms all the time, but bytes are sooo plentiful, just having two chambers on atrox or glacio and just popping the Research blobs you find in there as you play you always have so much, and by the time you can make 20 rtgs you dont need anymore But if you're just trying to blast forward at maximum then sure haha

For the tutorial at the beginning on how to make the byte farm, you dont actually need to save a canister for the auto arm. The only item the arm has access to is the gas can, so if you leave it empty then other items wont interfere rendering the filter useless for this scenario.

In the control panel, there is an icon that looks almost like a recycling sign, if you click it it will automatically start again

Alternativley- it works really good to use frozen argon on Glacio queued on a Large platform C, put two research chambers on the ends and large storage with frozen Argon on the storage and they will be automaticlaly researchin the tiles.

Actually, you don't need an Autoarm here. Just use a Large Platform T - it has 2 large slots for both Condenser and Research Chamber - Gas will get placed into Research chamber automatically

Over 300000 after unlocking everything in the entire catalog. I made a setup on Atrox, with 2 atmospheric condensers and 2 research chambers all on an extra large platform c so that they automatically transfer from the condensers to the research chambers, they were set to make helium

you can save power by using a large 4x 4 slot platform and large 12x 2 slot tower with power and any storage you want. removes the auto arm altogether.

From my experience Sulfur on Callidor is best. You can set one condenser on one research platform. To have the same B/min on atrox you need to use 2 condensers. And on callidor you can have more power using solar + batteries without using endgame RTG.

Repeaters make the best auto byte farm. Beware using on a dedicated server though; you’ll go to bed with 0 bytes and wake up to 100k+ over night. Kinda a bit much.

The novus one is very slightly more efficient because you need less research chambers per condensers to get the same amount of bytes as on glacio/calador Desolo: No Vesania;Argon: 1 condenser, 1.5 researchers 3 bytes/s 23u/s 7.67u/s per byte Sylva;Nitrogen: 1 condenser, 3 researchers 4 bytes/s 26u/s 6.5u/s per byte Glacio;Argon: 1 condenser, 3 researchers 6 bytes/s 26u/s 4.33u/s per byte Calador;Sulphur: 1 condenser, 3 researchers 6 bytes/s 26u/s 4.33u/s per byte Novus;Methane: 1 condenser, 2.25 researchers 6 bytes/s 24.5u/s 4.0833u/s per byte Atrox;Methane: 1 condenser, 3 researchers 8 bytes/s 26u/s 3.25u/s per byte Helium is not good, 2.5 bytes/s 21u/s 8.5u/s per byte for it so dont recommend using it since I have my main base on Novus, I have my byte farm there + methane explosive factory

I just use nanocarbon alloy being given to and removed from a research chamber just before it is finished, then run it through a canister to refresh the bytes

Hi, im mid game (I think) and started to automate but the extenders and the splitter are broken up. The extenders doesn't deliver the same energy output as its being inputed and the splitter just goes bananas and start to change the units per split per second almost. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

or you could use sturdy squash for a good 500 per min plus rare astronium any planet infinitly expandible i also got 200k plus from it you need either the punmkin base or sturdy squash seeds from the event all your round 24 hours a day no need to refill or check its afk
