I could not disagree more, that is a very strong build no questions, but spirit of osmiomancy getting back your grenades that fast and easy is better than better threalings imo, plus, you can cram in another exotic perk, including spirit of the swarm so you still get threadlings from tangles. Beyond that, spirit of osmiomancy is straight up ridiculous with the prismatic grenade, which swarmer doesnt touch.

Tbh my swarmers build with monte carlo is great in all activities, low end pve doesn't feel like overkill/waste of abilities, pvp (casual not trials) threadings are so good and so much fun, and most notably harder pve activities aswell. I have a stasis and strand build that both can perform in literally any activity in this entire game well enough to not be complete trash, be a fun enjoyable experience, and are a 1 size fits all build meaning i only have to grind and set them up 1 time and I'm done. I just need to level my power and I can do anything in the game.

Tbh, i find strand warlock with monte carlo and weavewalk with high recovery, strength(resilience instead is also good option because monte carlo, i just like having 100% melee uptime for invincible mode), and discipline and armor mods that heal you with orb pickup, and its great in both easy and hard content, you dont feel like youre wasting your abilities in easy activities and it gets the job done in harder content aswell. You could also instead of health on orb pickup focus more on other mods since high recovery means healing rift more often. As long as you focus on mechanics and good position and have good situational awareness i dont even notice low resilience, plus chest armor mods and woven mail combined with weavewalk as a backup tend to mitigate not having tier 10 resilience.

The exotic class item focusing is actually insane. Just this weekend from Xur (2 days) I pulled 3 rolls I wanted by focusing one of the perks in them: Caliban + Liars (Hunter), Ophidian + Coyote (Hunter) and Star-Eaters + Apotheosis (Warlock)

Just in time, saving weapons with Hatchlings for these type of builds…Better devils Demo/Hatchling, Vengful Whisper Bow Explosive head/Hatchling, tusk of the bore Envious/Hatchling, Crowning Dualog Rocket with Hatchling/Bipod😅

I just made a build like this this past weekend. However, I'm using final warning and the swarmers. Still fine tuning the build, and trying to figure out if i want to use a different strand primary since swarmers make threadlings take care of unraveling enemies. Final warning just does a ton of damage for a sidearm, and having unraveling bolts flying everywhere just adds to the insane output of strand damage for more perched threadlings and more grenade energy back from darkness damage.

They just made it give less regen to vortex so it’s basically useless for anything other than coldsnap, he’s only spamming in this video due to a demo weapon
