I think this is a very creditable effort started by the administration of some South Indian state, with Amma's kitchens. I think? Is this a private enterprise? All-you-can-eat chicken meal, and second helpings - I saw him taking more rice - with other dishes, for INR40, one-time payment. Hats off. 6:27 double helpings of gravy, self serve. You can only do this in the South! Try doing this on a roadside Dhaaba in the north and get ready for World War III! Amma had started these kitchens when she was the CM, in her state, because she knew how to make the right decisions, with the right financial administration. I do not know what is happening to her kitchens, now after she has gone. I think they must have gone down, because as usual, in human nature, it is take advantage of money when you have it in hand, and fill your own pockets. I spent my childhood in South India, and that is why even though I am supposed to be a North Indian by blood, race, and birth, I am hundred percent South Indian by tradition, culture, upbringing, and if it was up to me, financially speaking, I would go back to the South, and live the rest of my life here, maybe teaching, maybe farming, and not being bothered about ridiculous racial, regional, and religious stupidities. But then, it is well known down history, that South India has had a 7000 years old proud history of feed everybody, before you eat your own food. The Britishers of course being the barbarians they were and savages without any culture could not understand this matter of pride, culture, tradition. And that is why after forcing the whole of North India into starvation diet, thus making the greatest man-made famine in West Bengal in 1943, - historical fact British policy, the only way in which you can manage to administer large colonies like Africa and India is KILL ALL THE NATIVES because they are not white/European. I was also looking at all the comments, where people were surprised at no rotis being eaten. Roti is a North Indian wheat-based tradition, limited to just the northern region area. In other parts of India you eat rice as a staple diet. INR40 for all-you-can-eat, healthy food, buffet, may not be understood by people of North India, where the food is not rice! After all, this is the area, where subsidized food has been given in all the states, as far as I know, by their respective governments. Nobody will do it in North India, because then they will have to go through central government, and the government is going to take a GST tax on it, and all the ministers will want their cut, especially Delhi. So poverty is always going to remain here, because of bad administration and even worse planning. Nevertheless, the tradition of eat all you want is also done for the past 400 years in Sikh langars, but nobody knows much about this tradition, in South India. The food is vegetarian, and totally free. God bless you.
