If you have an old multitool with an Incinerator weapon, you can use this method to make copies of the module and get flamethrowers on all your MTs. Sadly, you still need to package and reinstall the weapon to recharge its ammo, c'mon HG just add it back into the game! lol

You still can, just not with upgrades. Use whispering eggs or hadal cores instead.

Best way to duplicate suspicious packet (arms) you can buy in pirate space station. It stacks to 50 so duplicate as much as you want. Open them all which will mostly be x upgrades. Sell them all at space station. Profit. One tip is to change control setting so you don't have to hold to open items in accessibility option so you can spam buttons to open.

Bee you can get multiple parts from the same ship. If you switch ships to another before it gets scrapped. You will receive the part you want and can swap the ship back in and get another part feom it.

I found out if you have more than 1 ship you can salvage or extract Parr from your ship then quickly ca ll another ship and it will give you the part/ the credits and u can still keep the ship. You get all 3 ship parts from 1 ship and still get to keep the ship, can also be used for infinite credits

I did this to copy my S rank multitool and honestly wondered if this was a glitch, I expected to be able do copy it a single time, not indefinitely as long as you have the nanites for it

I hope they make all expedition rewards available in quicksilver vendor or let is do expedtions whenever we want. I bought it on xboxx years ago then bought a PS5 last year and NEED those building plans

Thats great, thanks Beebs There is anther method, much easier but definitely considered cheating by most, though i dont think this video is exactly "honest", but i pass no judgement That method is to download the NMS Companion Originally made to store extra pets, back when we could only have 6 Now expanded to every aspect of the game, Freighters, Frigates, Ships, MTs, Companions and more It also allows switching the items between saves, which does open the door for brand new saves acquiring fully tech'd out ships, tools etc But maybe some people like that relaxed lack of challenge As i say no judgement each to their own Anyway hope people find this useful and helpful Be nice to one another, go hug someone! 💛🖤❤

It seems it does, you can for example use it to clone the Photonix Core, which is a pretty unique technology. If I remember - that was installed on the Starborn Runner.

There is a glitch that allows you to keep getting parts from the same ship over and over again it's easy to do. Step 1 go to a space station, Step 2 go to the ship outfitting station, Step 3 salvage the customisation module and step 4 Quickly change starship after salvaging the ship's part and then switch back to that very ship you just got the part from and rinse and repeat you can do this unlimited times no expedition's required. Oh this works with Scrapping for money too!.

But switch ships before the ship completely disappears or else you'll lose the ship and you'll have to hunt another one. Best to switch straight after the camera returns to your character (When you leave the scrapping menu).

During this expedition, I copied my stacked up staff to my expedition run. While in the expedition, I got some better S and X class modules that upped my damage, so I just override my main's staff with the expedition one, and BOOM, new MT damage upgrade. I do want someone to gift me the starborn Runner though, so If someone is able to hit me up to do so, I'd appreciate it.

So, there is a technique to give complete ships to friends. The OG way seems to be bugged out, but there are some workaround as far as I heard. I do believe channels like "Ricey's Starship Emporium" might have the best answers for this.

Ships like the Starborn Runner and Utopia Speeder are 2 ships that can not be dismantled into parts - But they can create copies of those ships and trade them with you using the Space Station. However, I have not tried this recently, and can not confirm the current working technique. Check out "Ricey Starship Emporium" Live streams to get more up to date solutions.

You can do this on whatever existing save you have - You just will have to start an expedition from that existing save to be able to clone ships into your save.

Interesting, didn't realize you could copy both directions. Did they change that? I was thinking in earlier expeditions, if I copied a ship to take into the expedition, I couldn't then bring one out. I'm using this current expedition to gain some photonic cores, redeemed the Runner inside the expedition and at the end, will copy it out a few times to salvage the core.

I never paid attention to the copy function before, until they added the Iron Vulture, and I wanted to build my own. lol. My plan was to make a video then.. but yep.. *Hey look... a Squirrel!*

can't you just dismantle a ship and then dupe the parts with portable refiner glitch? (that's how I copy/duplicate everything)

You only can unlock one part of a ship when dismantling it. That means you only would for example end up with the Iron Vulture's Cockpit. By using this technique, you can make multiple Iron Vultures, and get each separate part. If you wish to dupe them you still can, but you do need the parts to do that. Also, some people who feel less comfortable with duping, this might be a method they feel ok with.

Awesome tip! I always wished there was a way to share ships with my friends who missed out on other Expeditions. Thanks for this! EDIT: is it still possible to gift ships to others? If so, would you be able to make a video on how to do this in 2024?

I know about the original technique, but did not try it out for a while. I should research it - I am sure Ricey has the best clue about this tbh.

Well they did patch the old method by making the ship you exchanged go invisible on there screen. But there is a workaround, when you exchange the ship your wanting to give to someone make sure you go up to the pilot of the ship you just exchanged and hold them "Hostage" by staying in the purchase or exchange menu of the ship you exchanged. Then get your friend to fly into the anomaly and come back out and when they land in the station that ship your giving them will become visible for them again allowing them to buy it. WARNING DO NOT TRADE THE IRON VULTURE! there is a bug with that ship where if you trade the ship it will turn into a regular hauler, it might not look like it at first but when you load your save up it will change to a standard Hauler.

The old method was this: make a manual save on a planet, go to a space station with your friend, have your friend stand next to your ship, trade your ship with a npc, the npc will walk over to your old/their new ship, have your friend engage with the npc & they will be able to buy the ship from the npc, you then load the manual save to get your ship back. (I would check youtube for a more detailed breakdown on how to do this so you dont lose any ships)

We just tried the old method a couple of days ago and it didn't work for us. I very possibly could've done something wrong. I would love to be able to give my friend the Iron Vulture paint and iron clad body. Is it possible?

While there used to be a technique, by selling your ship to a NPC pilot, and your friend purchase it from the Pilot - There seem to have been some issues with it. Ships like the Iron Vulture, you can just share the 3 ship parts with your friend, and they can build it themselves.

I get it but... Uhhh Come on, HG, it's just ridiculous. We are getting expeditions, new planets, weather but no quality of life How about let us repaint ships? How about better representation of ship stats? Most importantly AUTOSORTING BUTTON for million items in our inventories. Sorting manually is fun, but only for so long, you know. I can even say that lack of this feature ruins experience for me. After each frigate expedition/small space flight your inventory is filled with junk you need to sort. Skipped your sorting routine - good luck finding what you want in that mess
