This is great, but could we trouble you for another version of this start for if you are still in wrought iron armor with no spells? People who are bottlenecked on Animal Hides probably don't have gear that's above that. I know my group is stalled at that point.

I appreciate this, but I'm so far from having spells that this strategy isn't very helpful to me. I'll keep this in mind though as I progress a bit more.

Gray bears and Brown bears, whenever brown drops are fixed, can drop 3 large 2 star at a time. Just hop on an ore rock and it cant hit you. Easy solo and weapon skill farming.

@@shedquality thank you. I love the game but I feel really left behind not having a active clan. armor lvl 15 is a pain to lvl trying to farm the wrought iron and hunt for hides at the same time alone the pace def slowed for me.

I have no spells, but I am just shy of steel. Just got armoring to where I can make plate armor. Also working to get the heartwood bow. The way to get the bears when yo don't have magic is chop down a large tree nearbyh. Shoot it with an arrow(while on the ground) hop on the tree, and use a spear to take it down. Takes a bit of time, but, I have gotten 10 or so tier 2 hides that way

good work, 20% still isn't much, considering the amount needed, but it is something. I would rather do it in PVP zone if it was 70%

no idea how to get to the equip and food id need to farm T2 effectively .. feels like i spend too much time being uneffective, mostly solo though.. feels so difficult having to level so much and farm mats .. my blacksmith is afk too often so i kinda have to start that too *sigh ive only seen magic in pax dei from NPCs and on youtube lol

Demone, I am still searching for a video that clearly explains and shows exactly how to get these magic spells you are talking about. Currently, i'm working tailoring up - but I am completely lost about how to get magic spells. From what I can gather, you have to kill mobs that drop the recipes for various magic spells? What kind of components should we be looking to collect to craft things for this? What mobs and areas should we be looking in to get these magic recipes. When it comes to how-to re: magic I am still really lost. Hope you will consider making some videos walking people through this process. Thank you!

Hunt inquisitors, fire spell i get from i forgot the npc name but its in the wildlands and its a npc with a staff who uses fire magic. Tailoring or leather lvl 23 for the fire gloves/vambraces

Near me there are two spots where 5-8 creatures spawn. These are boars, wolves, dire wolves, growler, corrupted and deadly wolves/boars. There are two Stones, on which the creatures cannot reach you. The dire wolves and growler very often drop the t2 hides. In 10 minutes I get to the 30-40 hides and 9-10 t2 hides. the spawn time is under 5 minutes.

Cant confirm his findings. For me it seems more like resources mature if not farmed for a while. Like the drop chance slowly creeps up. Best to farm when noone plays like in the morning and suddenly every damn bear seems to drop the hide...

I have killed 4 black bears in wildlands, and no animal hide, just the crappy stuff.

I kill bears (gray- normal) in wildlands but when press E to gather there is no drops NOTHING! I just think that was lag etc but no it never comes.. any idea ?

Yea we were speculating that the removal of hides from the higher tier bears was intended. We're thinking they're maybe supposed to drop tier 3 hides and higher in a future update. We hope we're wrong lol but this forced us to look deep into black bears and other ways to get hide consistently.

Just go to the cave kill growlers when you kill all the growlers log out log back in all animals respawned 1 hour later you got slot cap of t2 hide or you can run around for ten hours to get a few large t2 skins. For a guy that plays this game so much your advice is trash no offence
