Unload and load Magic Mobility Extreme X8 Wheelchair Access Vehicle WAV

We have had a few people ask how we get the Powerchair out and about so thought it might be useful for some people to watch a video of how we get it in and out of our Peugeot Partner WAV. It has had an Allied Mobility conversion.

Nothing comes easy, we borrowed 10k to buy the wav and I searched for weeks on facebook marketplace to find a suitable chair because they are 13.5k new and eventually one was listed at 3k with only 18 miles on it from new, but it was 250 miles away and I can't drive that far. I was lucky that my daughter offered to go and collect it for me or I wouldn't have got it. "must be nice having all that" that is a strange thing to say and I would just like my life back and be physically healthy and have non of these problems to overcome.

@@disabledadventures4115 I understand that I just paid 35k for the latest model .In Australia our government stated a Disability insurance scheme for the less fortunate Which allows them to buy the best they need to achieve the goals they wanted ! but could never do due to income limitations , its taken a long time to sort the scheme out But its working well now

Why don't you just drive it up rather than play with a winch

Not "playing" with the winch, it is a necessity. My idea was to drive the powerchair up the ramp and get out of the side door and drive, but it wasn't to be. My body is unable to bend, crouch or move about easily and therefore I was very soon disappointed, to say the least, that I couldn't do it! So "playing" with the winch is the only option.
