I used this extensively for my Privacy Policy and TOS pages on my starter theme. Both pages repeatedly display the company name, address, phone, and email. I had been manually changing all that information from the default, fake info to the client's actual info. It was pretty time-consuming and very tedious. Now, it all gets automatically populated from the ACF business info fields. I used this in my footer as well. Love it.

This is SO GOOD!!!! Would be dope if Generateblocks would release a Table Block as well!

I realised this is gonna work anywhere in gutenberg right? So it works even in wordpress tables? Gonna buy it straight away

Love your idea for using custom hooks! Just applied it to create a global query loop post template. Very nice!

Awe Kyle - how many more home runs are you going to hit this season? I think you're going to be an MVP. This put the icing on the cake and I'm joining SnippetClub in a couple minutes. I've been so tired of having to enter the same data over and over only dreading the update due to a change. I had no idea what option pages were - I'm just getting my feet on the ground with ACF Pro. The lingo has been such an obstacle to overcome doing WP and to some extent, web stuff. An options page as you demonstrated is, simply put, a collection of constants with global scope. The real icing comes with hooking custom hooks anywhere - GAME CHANGER. Please keep the great stuff rolling.

Pretty awesome stuff Taylor, thanks for creating this! Quick pre-sale question: does it only work with ACF Pro, or other dynamic plugins/manually coded custom fields as well? (ACPT, Cube, JetEngine…)
@tdrayson11 ай бұрын
@@bluetheredpanda You're welcome, its a handy solution. The snippet currently only supports ACF, however I can very easily add support for other custom field plugins. If you let me know any you'd like support for, I can add it.

Taylor - I've stopped by your site a couple times and just, at those times, couldn't justify pulling the trigger for the cost. This put it over the top and I'll be signing up.

Cool option! I wondering if it gives the opportunity to make GB button text look like "prefix + {post_title}" or using the same construction as a "data" attribute value.

Hey Kevin - There's a lot of things Bricks has that GB doesn't or has to have some code snippet added in. I'm finishing out a site in GB and looking hard at Bricks.

Thanks for the video, Kyle. I've been learning tons of awesome tips in the last few days. Many, many thanks for the time spent making these videos. I have a question about the hook option you described. I find it quite similar to using a custom shortcode. I understand that it gives you control from the hooks dropdown to select it, but in the end, it's more or less the same as programming a custom shortcode, isn't it?

@TheAdminBar @tdrayson thanks for the amazing video.I have a small presale question. Does the snippet only work for GenerateBlocks and GeneratePress setup or has general support for Gutenberg blocks? For example: Can i use it without GenerateBlocks just for self made ACF blocks, Blockstudio or maybe Oxygen with Gutenberg integration?

Is it possible, after you add manually the code (for Option Pages), to see the value instead of code? I’m asking this because if you have a table or something like that, you can not work properly in backend. Thanks!

GB does not have a integration with relationship fields - you'd have to custom code that.
