Which passing type are you using and have you explored the new revamp passing?

As somebody that never played madden, this video is so helpful. I scoured the web looking for a short explanation of each passing types mechanics and this is the only thing I could find. Thank you so much!!!

I'm super glad it helped! You aren't the first person to have told me that! Thank you for taking a moment to check me out. I have other videos of me playing online madden games where I break things down as well.

Thank you, I'm sticking with revamped but until I saw this video, I didn't know you could use the left stick to control placement at all. Nice.

Yes, you can also go into your settings and adjust the pass lead option. I have mines on large so that I can really throw people open! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

@ViciousFoLife1 What’s the pros and cons of Classic passing? I haven’t tried revamped since day one. I’ve been on classic and P&A. I still have trouble with P&A even when I pass lead it’s like it changes everytime I do it. Classic is better for me because I’m use to 14.

But if you can still do high throws on classic I don’t see the difference in that and P&A.

Pros of classic is no meter, so you can lob, touch, and bullet based on just your press. You also can high ball and low ball. Also, since it's dependent on ratings, you don't have to worry about placement. Lastly you get better ball velocity so passes won't hang in the air. Cons: You can't place the ball where you want and you are at the mercy of accuracy of the QB you're using. Also, you don't get any highten trajectory, so the throw will go straight on the path you are aiming. Hopefully that helps!

Do you think it’s fair if you playing a friend for money & he using classic and I’m using revamp ? Like is classic easier ?
@ViciousFoLife13 ай бұрын
That's fair. At the end of the day, you still gotta make the right read and throw, so it's a level playing field.
@ViciousFoLife13 ай бұрын
My bad just reread it and I would say with classic you are giving up the ability to place the ball where you want. It's easier in the fact you don't need to mess with a meter but harder in the aspect that you have to hope the QB places it where you want it.

Can you explain the meter? I'm on placement and accuracy, rarely using the L2 accuracy thing and I'm mostly getting green on the meter but a lot of my throws are over thrown... Like its almost unplayable how much it missed throws in green
@ViciousFoLife13 ай бұрын
With the meter, the optimal throw is blue. I believe Green is alright but I'm guessing depending on the difficulty of the throw your QB can't hit it consistently. I would try to hit the full light blue for perfect accuracy.

Yeah I’m not sure. There was a vid that put these all to the test using the exact same routes and placement and accuracy was the only one to complete the passes consistently

With placement and accuracy, you get better ball velocity and the targeting, which is great. But with Revamp, even tho you lose velocity, you really are able to put the ball in places the defense can't go. I play strictly on Revamp and I don't miss P&A at all tbh.
