This is why interior line is more important than people think. If the "pocket" collapses, that the interior rush is getting to you. You can't step up if your interior lineman are being pushed back. Recruit them as heavily as tackles. You are going to need them.

My current dynasty team doesn’t have a linemen under 92 OVR and MAN does it make a difference. I try to select for physical abilities while I’m recruiting and I keep my eye out for the pass related ones

I have been working on pocket presents, it takes time, im also working with a really bad O line, so i naturally had to go to quick passes, curls in the right spot and timing is how I won a Natty with this bad team. But I had no idea how to change my RB to an In or Out route. I am so thankful that you showed me how to do this! It's a game changer when you don't like your checkdowns . Especially in the road to glory game mode where you have very limited options for doing a play you want to do in difficult situations. I started this game mode mainly because I like how you can't chose the play, you have to do the coaches play most of a game, there was a few plays I always sucked at, but now I have learned ways to make those plays successful that I hated at first! And yes, you can push triangle to pick a different play a certain number of times , but you can't pick a different time, and if coach picks a run, it's going to be a run play, if it's a pass play, you can only chose 2 other pass plays, no switching run to pass and vice versa. So I just been running coach plays till I can make it work with limited charges.and it's a lot of fun! I'm still having some trouble with pass leading on Road to Glory, it seems like if I even think about looking at the stick, my AI receiver will drop a perfect ball like it's nuclear hot potato almost every single time. I swear it's 95% of the time, if I barely touch the stick with a bread basket ball, ..the animation shows them catching it, take a 2 steps, then spike the ball straight to the ground so hard that it Flys up 12 feet in the air. Irs really frustrating on this part. I'm trying to throw my guys open, if I touch it, they Don't hold onto the ball, if I don't pass lead, the defense gets a pick 6 because the Mud dogs suddenly have db's who can Teleport to the ball and can run faster than the flash. It gets frustrating at times, but I believe these impossible challenges will make me a better player. And I'm a gamer, I won't stop an impossible game until I win, because I know it can never beat. Like beating all the valkrys in God of War, that final queen had me cussing and grinding for weeks, every single night until I finally beat her, because I knew she could be beat, I had to study the animations so thoroughly and time things perfectly along with tons of research on the best gear that I was best at to finally beat the hardest video game challenge I've ever done. It was rewarding, but now I'm putting that energy into College Football baby! I want to be great at this game, but I have a long way to go.

You need to look back and forth between them. If you're following the path of your receiver you're doing it wrong. Look at the defenders instead. Know what spaces have to open for each throw to be possible. That way you can make each read in a split second and between that you have time to scan the pocket

I'm good on passing. It's the run blocking that frustrates me. I have USC at the moment with all 90+ ovr. lineman 2-3 badges each. And some 2 star DT's from Washington State (no offense) is just dominating my Oline. Or some 77 ovr DE from North Texas is unlockable with no badges 73 strength 65 block shed. How is this happening?? It's as if my attributes mean nothing. More times than not, my LG on run plays, will run right passed the LB as if he isn't there, and that very same LB is making a tackle on my RB at the line of scrimmage. The oline just runs up the field at times, blocking no one on the play. I can understand if you cant block a guy, but if he's not going to even attempt to block, why is he on the feild?? I know all about sprinting behind the line of scrimmage, and running in heavy boxes, I do understand football and concepts as about as much as one can. These mfs just don't even attempt to block at all, way more than the worse opposing team. The CPU's run blocking is unreal at times. Whoever you are usering has to make the play, because somehow MidTenn St. Offense is manhandling my NFL prospects on my defense. There are plays where if the safety doesn't make the tackle, no one else on the team can get off of a block until this 73 ovr RB is 25 yards down the field. 75% of runs by the CPU (no matter the team) will block every person on your team accept the person you are controlling. If you make one mistake.... he's gone.

Not sure if you figured it out yet, but on revamped for a lob just tap the button for less time. When you hold it down to fill the meter and it gets yellow, that's a bullet pass. Tap the button to lob

I miss ncca 14. I dominated that game on the hardest difficulty. Now it’s interception after interception, option plays suck and result in fumbles, pockets collapse and defenders miss big plays when you’re on defense but play like Alabama when you’re on offense. I can understand why people complain about madden’s gameplay now. As I haven’t touched that game in years. Gameplay just isn’t that fun based on this older frostbite engine.

An excellent video again. I am on varsity level and am getting better with Oregon. What is noticeable is that running backs are being marked more so little run after the catch and anything over the middle after 5+ yards is being interpreted. I am also finding inside the redzeone tough. Z Pass and flood are great plus scoring before h/t when defences are mostly in zone.
