If it is completely broken this approach will be difficult. Otherwise I _think_ you can also plug the phone into a computer, which initiates the "Do you trust this computer"-dialog. After which the passcode screen should appear. // Chris

Hi! Sorry to hear that. There might be other ways, however this specific way requires the phone not to have been turned off unfortunately :-/ If it was me and I really needed to get into the phone I would hear with a repair store what could be done. Maybe they can swap the display to a temporary one just to make you unlock the phone and backup your information or something. Just guessing of course. But might be worth asking :-) // Chris

Hi! Yeah, some iPhone versions needs Wi-Fi to be able to use Siri. However if the phone is not connected then it is, in that case, not possible to use this method I´m afraid. Suppose the next step would to hear with a repair company if they´ve got any data extraction services or similar. Or a cheap screen replacement, just to be able to get the data out. Hm, there are a few software programs stating to be able to let you input the lock code through a computer when the phone is connected to it via USB. I have however not ever come across one that actually works. Other than trying one of those programs my best bet would be to actually either take the phone to a certified Apple seller and ask if anything could be done via them somehow. What if the screen doesnt respond to the touch, although it shows the voiceover feature it brings up the it is important that this will switch your phone to the gesture mode, but it didnt let me to unlock the phone, because the touch screen doesnt work at all. please help, anu suggestions

Hi! That does sound like either the controller for the actual touch-layer and/or the actual touch layer in the screen has been damaged to the point where it simply won´t work at all. My best recommendation here is probably to take the phone to a repair shop and replace the screen. This can of course be done without loosing any data. However is not always that cheap depending on the iPhone-version :-/ // Chris

Depending on how the phone is broken a repair shop _might_ be able to look at it for you and extract the information for a small sum (guess they could for example temporarily connect the phone to another display and unlock it). You could try and hear if any nearby phone repair company has got any ideas as well. Hi! If the phone has been turned off before attempting this then the phone (unfortunately) usually asks for the passcode before Siri can be used. Which of course counters the whole purpose of this procedure :-/ If you just need to get into the phone it might be worth talking to the nearest phone repair place to see if they could maybe hook it up to a screen temporarily for a small cost, just to be able to unlock the phone and make a backup of it. // Chris

Yeah, if the phone has been restarted you are totally correct that you need to unlock it to be able to use Siri :-/ And then this way of unlocking doesn't work at all. Apparently it is only since of iOS 15 that Siri can do things without an Internet connection. Just tested this in flight mode on my 15.6 iOS iPhone and there Siri still are able to turn voice over on without Internet. I´m guessing that you might be running an earlier iOS-version, otherwise it should work regardless. Been trying to see if there´s any other ways of activating voice over while on the lock screen but can´t find anything really helpful I´m afraid. Will do some more searching and get back here if i stumble on something! // Chris

Hi! If the screen is completely broken and does not work at all I haven´t been able to find any way to actually enter the phone. Other than wiping it via iTunes or iCloud and Find My iPhone and restoring it to factory settings. However then all you are left it is a blank phone that you still cannot use. I´d say the best thing to do in this case is to check with any repair store to see what they recommend, perhaps they can plug in in a temporary screen and recover the data for you. Or of course switch out the screen completely would you like to keep the phone. // Chris
