Quick tip: If you have Red Hulk, set up his ult on the first unrestricted node with him and any 4 support characters. That way you can start with his ult on the first global bio node, and the whole encounter is basically free. You need to get 5 charges during that node to have his ult available for node 2. The strategy for node 2 is to ult right away and have 5 charges available before the enemy Red Hulk has 5 charges. You wanna ult during the last wave before the enemy Red Hulk ults to place heal block and trauma on him, that way he gets the bleed stacks from the battlefield effect into trauma, you win the ult trade and he dies first. Red Hulk is the only character you need decently built with the ult setup strategy, much like Kang in MoE team (even to max Nova out).

Just used this to beat the Node 4 with a lvl 60 Leader, lvl 75 Cap, and everyone else at lvl 70. Super helpful, and at the end my team had full health and ult ready for node 8. Thanks for the great content!

Dude, I can't thank you enough. I have literally unlocked and maxed so many characters using your guides. It is amazing. Using this video, I just got my Nova to 6-4. Keep trying for the max, the last node is giving me a bit of hard time because of Gambit, but I am sure I will pass that with a few resets as well and get a max unlock with surprisingly low power toons. It is all possible thanks to your guides. Thanks to your videos, I was able to get my Big Boy Apoc yesterday on my 51st day as well! Thank you and keep up the good work!

Some of the new units will hopefully make this a lot easier going forward. The Zombies are all Global Bio and the Annihilators are Cosmic which should make those sections a good bit simpler (and you could even tech Kang into Annihilators over Surfer)

Thanks for the unlock guide, I had pretty much given up hope of ever trying to unlock Nova. However after watching this I threw a few more resources into Kang and Quicksilver and was able to unlock Nova 👍. Although I don’t think I’ll be building him up it’s still nice to have him unlocked.

Leave all the MoE characters unbuilt EXCEPT a Kang. Wait until You get to lvl 100. Then a lvl 100 g17/18 Kang at 7rs will solo all the nodes for his sections!

My question is, for the OML unlock, is a 3 star Nova going to be enough? I was working on getting all the needed teams up to 75, gear 14 like you recommended, and that just...seems so small on a 3 star Nova. I guess I'm just worried that I'm putting in all these resources for OML, and that it's not going to be enough. And I'll regret not spending those resources on getting teams ready for DD5/6 and Apoc.

That’s is a 100% valid concern and possible outcome. I’ll say Nova even at 3ys mechanically is going to bring a lot to the team but requires T4s. What I’m doing is trying to get a slightly bigger Nova AND I’m hoarding resources for putting in extra levels / gear / T4s into the teams if we find out we HAVE to in order to get the unlock

So sadly I lost the footage but it’s pretty much this exact same strat BUT bigger kang and bigger out of time captains with redhulk. You really just need a giant kang with striker to get through and max nova

His awakening abilities never made sense. His special says something about needed his field effect but Nova never starts out with his ult or field effect working before he uses his special. So the special awaken ability never gets used in a sense

Not atm, the problem with my 7rs push for nova is that it’s basically invest everything you can into Kang, mix red hulk into the global bio section. And thats the only difference

Sadly I didn’t think even my baby account made sense to make it on. Because my Kang lucked his way in 3D. So my recommendation is to bench Nova max until your Kang can be really big. Like level 95 G18. Everything else in the video stands BUT add Redhulk to the global bio section and treat him like Kang. Get him as big as you can!

@DorkyDadMSF i unlocked him not long after I posted this but the 2nd global bio i used red hulk, titania, sasquatch, tigera, and leader. That was by far the hardest node and the main reason I requested a follow up.
