I hate fs now but never had an issue with Kodi when I did have it. Id say biggest issue was updating the app. Android just does it on its own.

Honestly, KODI feels so dated and janky, most of the even "good" packs are hot trash with mostly broken links. So much easier to just get content and host it on a PLEX server.

Only the UI is dated and janky and you can fix it via install skins that suit your preference. There is no other android players that can come close to kodi, one that does though is vlc. People that complain about addons and apps on kodi are one's using it for piracy and seems to forget it is a media player not some piracy software
