That is what women are by nature! So you have value period! The should not be why a man should marry. You are not the one going after the man. The man is coming to you. It’s their nature! You have value regardless of who you are individually. Men only see your vagina is value or you being a wife(slave) a valuable. Men are deficient in nature! They have no value! So the question should be what value does a man have for him to be in your presence?

Exactly! You don't know you're healed until that healing is tested. If you're alone, you feel healed because you don't have to deal with the triggers. You won't know you're healed until that trigger doesn't trigger you anymore. You can only figure this out by being in a relationship.

This is so true. I try to tell men this all the time. You don’t have to be Controlling to have CONTROL. If the women is in her right mind no drama she will naturally submit because it’s in us to do it but only for the right man. Submissiveness means you fell safe to let down your guard. A woman no longer feels the need to be defensive. She trust her man.

@@gwendolynlewis5655great point because I think some people will zoom in so closely into what April said that they miss the point and begin pointing fingers at men- “see, you’re just not masculine enough for me to be feminine” When she also said being feminine doesn’t require a man. It’s not FOR him so we should be feminine regardless to how masculine he is.

I'm writing this comment before watching the video, but passed off these responses. The "I'll submit when I find a masculine man" part. A woman should be feminine from the start. A man can't say ill be a masculine man when I find a feminine woman. That shxt ain't something you can turn on and off. No one can turn it on and off. It's either in you or it aint, for both parties.

Platonic male/female relationships go left ALL THE TIME. Men accept platonic relationships with women who they desire, in hopes of one day getting lucky. Laterras is highly attracted to April's feminine energy. I thought he made that abundantly clear. You see his excited reaction when she puts it on. He thinks she's out of his league, but he also has questions about her that give him pause. Plus, she already made clear that she's looking for men in a certain $ bracket. Another thing that gives him pause. He'd have a relationship with her but after peeling back the layers and discovering who she is, he would not marry her either.

Yes, to Laterras' question at the 17-minute mark, repeated sexual abuse/violation/rape is 100% spiritual. It can even be attached to a bloodline and be passed on from parents to children when it's not dealt with. Get a deliverance minister or teacher to sit on that couch. I knew EXACTLY what she meant when she said "she didn't want to be seen." Currently working through that myself, now.

If you really think about it God has prepared each of us for marriage. Before we enter into marriage, we have relationships with our parents, siblings, friends, etc. These relationships should be honored and respected. If you can’t sacrifice your time in these relationships and be obedient to your parents first, then marriage will be difficult. You can’t enter into a marriage with a selfish heart.

At the 19 minute segment, I know EXACTLY what she means about not wanting to be seen. As a survivor of sexual abuse, it makes you not want to seen, you like grow into yourself. Because being seen, may mean being victimized again and you don't feel safe. It's sad that this is this common! At age 40, I still won't dress up or get my hair done unless there's an event, and will wear tennis shoes or keep my tomboyish appearance at the forefront for the same exact reason. I've long ago knew I don't like to be "seen" but I don't know what to do to change this thinking. I'm struggling now because they want me to participate more in meetings etc. I rather have one on one's or send emails.

This is just overwhelming confirmation that I’ve healed and me resting in my femininity and how I operate as a wife is absolutely right…I was just with the wrong person. At my core I’m a wife and a large part of my purpose. Thank you LW for your podcast and I just thank God He has used you to help so many and myself! 😭 My dad instilled feminine values in me at a very young age. I appreciate this episode so much. Having been raised by a (wonderful) single dad, there are certain feminine lessons that I simply did not learn as a child. April hit the nail on the head about the importance of women being able to identify who we are, outside of our accomplishments. Degrees and businesses are great, but a home and a life are built from a woman's heart, mind and character. Wonderful episode! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

When a child experience trauma without the means to resolve it, they end up magnetizing similar experiences . For some children, they don’t talk about it but it remains active in their vibration. Some children manage to talk about it but if the talking about it does not help them to process, it becomes an identity. That too will magnetize similar experiences . Normalizing conversations that give permission to truth will help children especially to separate experiences from who they are. ❤️. Kudos to you for showing up for YOURSELF

True, but lets not minimize the fact that Paul was an Apostle and prophet who had a personal encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, performed miracles, wrote 2/3 of the NT under divine inspiration and received divine revelation from God. Paul was by no means a "regular" umarried man!

This was very enlightening! Independent, self-sufficient until I was 50. Wanted to be able to "take the pants off" and have a husband who leads. Married now and realizing the transition was not as easy as I thought it would be. But I now I see that I haven't allowed myself to walk in my femininity with my husband, because I've had to be my own protector for so long. Will definitely start focusing on that because he deserves it, and so do I.

I want to appreciate this podcast for all the information and learning I have gotten. Before even listening to this episode, I just want to say the lessons are bitter sweet. Yes, I did stop dating because l want marriage, a husband not a boyfriend. Seven months later, l am building my inner self, my career and l have never been so focused in life. The bitter part is how open my eyes have become. I see a player a mile away. I see a man's true intention before he speaks and it's scary. It's a journey. I have faith in the process. I have faith in God and may He bless this podcast.

Fabulous interview. I related to April so much. She seems like such a kind soul; purposefully making men feel seen through pure kindness. Creating boundaries and self love through femininity is it! I had an ah ha moment about my own feminine energy and her comment about being broke. I realized whenever I’ve been single I FLOURISH within my feminine ways but as soon as I get into a relationship it slowly drifts away and I loose myself. Hence my current season of being broke. Why do I turn more masculine when I partner up? Why do I turn to fear and not feeling safe? I need to change into my b e i n g and step my ass out of my past. My healing continues on. Thank you both ❤ this is my first time experiencing this Queen. Grateful 🙏🏾

This was a wonderful video. I did want to add this in reference to trauma bonds. Trauma bonding doesn't mean forming a bond with someone based on your shared trauma/experiences but thats what pop culture has turned the definition into. Trauma bonding is a psychological response to abuse. It occurs when the abused person forms a connection or relationship with the person who abuses them.

Laterras, April is on point!! In our foundational and formative years (0-6), when a person experiences trauma, especially sexual trauma, you lose your autonomy and you are groomed to believe that you don't have the rights to disagree with the people who they are entrusted to. This is how children who experience sexual violations at such young ages become a recidivist of the abuse. Essentially, in the spiritual Realm it is like you're wearing a neon sign on your forehead saying, " I won't put up a fight. " or " I don't know I'm worthy of better." Or "I don't have the right to say NO!" Through this abuse and other forms of abuse, children are taught that the maladaptive Behavior is normal and acceptable, especially when it's coming from trusted family or friends of the family. I'm so very proud of April! I have yet to meet a woman who like myself experience and endured that many years at sexual abuse and sexual assault. It was 13 years for me, but like April, I dedicated my adult life to therapy, braking the generational curses, and relearning who I am as a woman; my self worth, that I deserve better, and I have the right to say "NO". People do not get passes in my life to abuse or mistreat me regardless of associations or relations! Kudos April, to being a curse-breaker in your lineage ‼️💖🙌🏽💖 Thank you, brother for always be an amazing vessel for Abba to use for healing and deliverance 🙏🏽💖🙏🏽
