Megan isn’t lying. My husband and I were having a disagreement and I kept my cool and didn’t go low. Later after resolving the issue, my husband came up to me and said “whatever you’re doing with God; keep going” 😂🥺

Too deep or dramatic? They are not ready for God. We need to keep him in every word if possible. When you have seen hell on earth and then realize that God is your father and loves you so much and you need Him literally, you cant call His name enough especially when you decide to get off the fence, realizing that being on that fence has destroyed you and might be getting ready to affect your bloodline. You will scream his name in every word. Period.

Why is it so unbelievable to LT that Morgan Ashley has the revelation that she does? She's after Gods heart and its wonderful to see. So many women I know have this posture but are overlooked by most men because its "too much" for most of them. Ladies, keep living for Christ. It is worth it 🙌🏽

Her boldness for her love of God and her honesty with where she failed in her marriage is refreshing! This is an example of a person who has TOTALLY surrendered to Christ. It doesn't mean she won't make mistakes, but it is not something she will intentionally do! And when she falls, she will get back up! This interview encouraged me because that is the path I am on as well. There's no more time to play with God! I will be subscribing to her channel! Great interview and episode, Laterras! I loved your letter, Laterras. I pray you find her soon, so you no longer struggle with your abstinence journey. ❤

A LOT of black women are exactly like this woman LT. Sooooo many black women are strong, wifey material godly unapologetic women. It's nice that you are highlighting it because we're out here, we've BEEN out here but its not cool to culture to be like this, fully embodying the holyspirit with boldness and also look a certain way as she does. So she is refreshing to see on this podcast so more men realize this type of woman is very representative of the single Christian women who are out there.

She is so right. I have been married going on 14 years and since I was the 1st to be married in my immediate family, I didn't have my sisters or cousins that I could go to to "complain " about my husband since they weren't married and I didn't want to hear them say at least you have someone real to jump into the bed with each nite. So I would literally report him to God. Whenever he upset me or offended me I told his Father on him. And many times the Lord would turn it back to me and then sometimes the Lord would vindicate me To this day I have never complained on the phone to my friends or sisters about my husband. When you go to the Lord He will truly comfort you and lead and direct you in all things, even in a potential argument with your spouse

Yall are Reeeeeaching with trying to put Megan and Laterras together. I see friendship and like-christ mindedness. A great conversation doesn’t equal a covenant connection. However, this is a great episode to show the journey of someone growing deeper with the Lord after going through some trials amd heartbreak. However, in my opinion, I think Laterras would need a woman who can match his light-hearted energy but still bring a serious part to him that enhances his life. Laterras has a fun energy and yet driven personality. He needs a woman who can laugh with him, pray with him , grow with, and laugh again over and over again. I didn't get that from Megan. But her steadfastness in God's Word is beautiful ❤ I was inspired by her faithfulness towards her relationship with God. But it's beautiful to see people wanting and praying for Laterras to find his Godly purpose partner. ❤

This woman is anointed from the crown of her beautiful head to the soles of her feet. May the Lord continue to water her. Growing up in the church all of my life and well versed in scripture, her testimony was so relatable on several points and beautifully delivered. I’m truly touched by God’s ability to radically transform lives with His unfailing love. God CAN NOT fail and is always faithful even when we’re not. Our gratitude should be shown by our total surrender to God and obedience. As the song goes “Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe. Sin has left a crimson stain. He washed me white as snow”. This is the 1st comment I have ever made on KZbin but felt compelled to say “God is real and worthy to be praised!”

I was married for 33+ years and got a divorce (adultery by ex-spouse). Like Megan, I told the Lord that "If it's your will, I don't have to be married. I just want to serve and please you". Many thought that I was bitter, but the opposite was true. I AM BETTER! Little did I know that GOD brought my "purpose partner" and FIVE MONTHS later, we were married and have been in covenant now for SIX years! WAIT - SERVE THE LORD WITH GLADNESS, AND HE WILL GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART.

He got married abroad before our divorce was finalized it was just started and have a baby in less than a month after he got married. He did so much to me to the point I feel like I will never forgive him until I leave this world. Now I have to share custody which it’s a reminder. I don’t wish to hear his name. I maybe smiling and when kids mentions him my mood changes immediately and I don’t How to hide that or to sugar coat things. We married for 7 years we got divorced in 2022

@@Ninafrance-n1t I've been where you are, so what I am about to say is from experience and from a place of love. I am standing with you as you seek the Lord for healing, restoration, and to be made whole. If you must, get therapy and/or counseling. This is a tough place to be in, but GOD IS ABLE to deliver and make you whole. It's a process, and you're going to have to learn how to work the process and not let it work you. Unforgiveness and bitterness is like drinking poison and then expecting the other person to die. It's not the will of Jesus that you live with this pain, bitterness, unforgiveness, and hate, even towards his new family. Cry! Yell! Punch something, and during this...LET HIM, THEM, IT GO. Two songs that I constantly listened to and allowed to speak to me are "Thou Will Be Done" by Hillary Scott and "Living Proof" by Mary J Blige. You can listen to these or find some songs that speak to your heart as you heal. Ask the Lord to forgive you for the word curses that you've spoken over your life, then renounce and denounce them, and come out of agreement with them (I don't wish him to breathe; I will never forgive him, I don't want to hear his name, and whatever else you've been speaking) and start speaking what you WANT to see in your life. GOD IS FAITHFUL TO COMPLETE IN YOU EVERYTHING THAT HE'S STARTED! Kingdom blessings, sister!

@deniseslaughter1965 I’m Curious to know who Filed for Divorce in your FIRST marriage, because I noticed how you Highlighted your ex-husband’s “adultery”. It takes TWO to Tango ma’am, so What part did YOU pLay in the dissolution of that marriage 🤷🏽‍♀️ The Bible does **ALLow for Divorce** on the grounds of Adultery and fornication, but did you Exhaust ALL opportunities to Forgive your Husband before WRECKING your home? The Word of God informs us that LOVE COVERS a Multitude of Sins (1 PETER 4:8). My reason for questioning is because if you’ve Neglected to Take ACCOUNTABILITY for YOUR part in the Failure of your First Marriage, then you will have the SAME Prideful and Selfish Mindset in your Second Marriage.
@deniseslaughter1965
@deniseslaughter1965 Ай бұрын
@@renewashington791 First, for you to "assume" that I wrecked my marriage shows that you lack tack, compassion, and love, and that you are the one who's "prideful". But since you asked, my ex-husband committed adultery SEVERAL times during our 33+ years of marriage. I stayed in honor of my vow to GOD, myself, and my ex-husband. We went to counseling, secular and in the Christian community. We separated on SEVERAL occasions with the hope that he would get the help that he needed to save our marriage. Yes, I forgave him, ALL the times that he committed adultery, but there came a time, that GOD gave me the okay to depart, as his heart and behavior didn't change. I forgave him, but he no longer was allowed "access" to me. Yes, Love does cover a multitude of sin, but Love does not cover over a multitude of sin by sweeping matters under the rug. It also does not mean we disregard our own emotions or ignore our personal boundaries, or the Word of God. I eventually filed for divorce, on the GROUNDS OF ADULTERY. As far as my "part" in the demise of the marriage, I allowed myself to be taken advantage of and didn't hold my ex-husband accountable for his wicked ways. I believed the lie that MANY woman, especially in the "church" (I'm not bashing the Church, as I'm a Pastor and I love the Body of Christ), that if you pray hard and long enough, if you fix his favorite food, if you give him enough sex, if you "submit" to him no matter what he does, if you'd just be a "better" wife, he'll change and love and respect you as the Bible says. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 7:15 that "If the unbelieving spouse leaves, LET THEM, you are not under obligation". My ex-husband left me SEVERAL times during our marriage, through adultery and other ways, and so yes, I CHOOSE TO FINALLY LET HIM GO. I only hope, dear renewashington719 that you NEVER have to experience what I and many others went through. Divroce is a death that I had to endure and it wasn't easy, my dear. It's a tearing of the heart, BUT, I'm so glad that Jesus is a mender of broken things! But IF you do....REMEMBER your words to me and my words to you. (LOVE covers, LOVE forgives, but LOVE also leaves us with the consequences of our choices). FINALLY, I am now married to an AMAZING man who loves JESUS CHRIST, himself, and me. A man who is FAITHFUL, TRUSTWORTHY, A PROTECTOR, PROVIDER, AND PRAYER WARRIOR. A man that, just as I did in my previous marriage, I submit to as his wife, friend, confidant, lover, and purpose partner. Trust me, my "mindset" is great and we are great.

In this interview, she reminds me when I decided to get over heartbreak 💔 and started running after the Lord. I literally was in Love with God. It was so fresh. This was soooo me. I feel like I’ve lost it a little after getting married. Last night, I surrendered again and I literally said how am I so offended by things my husband does, but it doesn’t burden me enough how much I’ve been offending God. I also said the same thing she said, scripture says if you love me, obey me, keep my commandments. We say we do, but our actions speak differently. Whew, such a great confirmation.

I can totally relate to this sister’s desire to serve the Lord-I’m in the same space. Recently, I went to see The Forge with my son, and I must say it was a phenomenal movie. During the film, a question was posed: “What kind of woman do you want to be?” I took some time to reflect before answering, and I realized that I want to be unapologetically a woman of God, giving Him all of me every day. This realization has been a turning point for me. It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life, but I’m committed to living with intentionality, making sure that my actions, thoughts, and words reflect His love and truth. It’s not always easy, but I know that as I surrender more of myself to Him, He will guide me to become the woman He has called me to be. I am excited for this journey of faith, knowing that with each step, I’m growing closer to God and becoming more of the woman He designed me to be. This interview deserves all of these 👉🏾⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I went through a really difficult situation and focusing on him created peace and happiness inside my heart and my world. Also it showed me that there is no better way to do life then with Gods presence.
