Why this data not free

Hi@@khalidnaami728 BEcause it is a lot of work to prepare the data and you need to pay for that work. Hope this helps.

Thank you Barchart for an introduction to this complex subject. The video explains what generally happens, but doesn't delve into why it happens. Wish it was longer and explanation was based on first-principles, with a why, what, how, when on each point. At a very basic level the key takeaway appears to be that there are support and resistance levels related to gamma exposure, just as there are resistance and support levels for price. This is a good addition to Barchart. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Will keep it in mind as we look to do more in the future.

Excellent video. The video was great at introducing the basic concepts of gamma charting. It was a little light on interpreting messing gamma exposure charts in different gamma exposure environments but that's expected on an introduction to gamma charts and theory. I hope there is more coming. I was little surprised to not see a GEX flip point on Barcharts exposure charts when I first looked at them. I've often seen EOT moves to the GEX flip point or afternoon price discovery oscillating around it - therefore it is rather important. The issue of estimating the MM's book based on OI has evolved quite a bit since the naive estimation technique I believe Barchart is using based on your presentation. Confirmation that it is naive or perhaps an explanation how Barchart is estimating the MM's exposure is really necessary. We need to know what information is being presented to properly interpret it if Barchart is using it's own secret sauce method of sifting data to find the MM's real exposure. That said, excellent presentation and hope to see more soon. And I hope to see that GEX flip point too :)

how do we know which side the Market Maker is on? E.g. if there is say 30K open Call options at a given strike, how do we know whether the MM is Net long or short those 30K options? (This obviously impacts MM gamma exposure)
