W&N makes the best Paynes Gray, in my opinion. I love W&N Paynes gray watercolor, too :)

Yes, I totally agree! I've tried the one from ARA, which is a very good brand too, but I like the one from W&N better. I don't use watercolour, you use both acrylics and watercolour?

Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire ! Comme c'est gentil que vous répondiez si souvent. J'aime travailler avec le mélange des couleurs, j'utilise rarement de la peinture directement du tube. Est-ce que vous peignez vous-même? 😘

@@luzartworks hello Luz, Ce qui est super gentil, c'est de me répondre 🙏 et bien oui, je peins..😊 j'ai fait des études d'art, ensuite j'ai été publicitaire, encadreur, j'ai eu un magasin de deco et toujours mon besoin de couleurs,de matières, mais vous connaissez le problème !!! Je peux avoir 2 ou 3 maisons, elles seront toutes remplies..de papiers, peintures, ou tout autre accessoire à essayer, J'ai honte, c'est un vrai magasin chez moi. Je vais surement demander une autre vie !! J'avoue que j'aime beaucoup votre manière de travailler et surtout les résultats ! Mon cerveau ne fonctionne pas de façon aussi abstraite, mais je fais des progrès 😊 Je suis toujours ravie de voir ce que vous présentez. De plus, vous êtes très sympa. Je passe donc de bons moments en votre compagnie ! C'est chouette, un moment d'harmonie. Bises , à bientôt, peut-être pour un nouvel échange !!! Je suis super bavarde...🙃 Michèle

Mais pour répondre, j'utilise Google Translate. Je comprends tout à fait ce que vous voulez dire ; Il est difficile pour beaucoup de gens de commencer à peindre. La vie est trop occupée ces jours-ci. Au moins, vous avez déjà le materiel ! Je suis content que vous soyez inspiré par les vidéos.

Interesting... not cleaning the brush. Hope U add this segment to more videos as U create, even if only a few minutes each time. Colors R intended to make the viewer think, the shades (values) present courioustesy. We can purchase an assortment of colors, the old masters worked with what was available at the time, when U study their works of art many of the colors of today R there. Would have been good 2 C, even a small painting of these shades in this video. Ann, Florida fan

Thank you for your tips, Ann! I will definitely share more about what I'll do with these colour swatches... To be continued! Some art schools teach how to mix colours with just the 3 primary colours and black and white. I am able to create any colour with this, but find it more convenient to use colours that are already a bit in the direction I'd like to work with. Also I am aware that this is quite hard for a lot of people. Much love from the Netherlands.
