I havent talked with you in some time and wanted to check in with you and say hello. Laurel and I are still on the road at 75 years old now. She is in Colombo, Sri Lanka and I am about 50 Kilometers north in Chilaw. I am starting a 10 day Tuk Tuk Race here tomorrow. It is a bit like a World of Warcraft Game but instead of online it covers the entrie country of Sri Lanka. I see that Auburn is really growing up and she is such a happy little girl I know you are very proud of her. Anyway just a check in. Say hello if you have a moment. John and Laruel Rodgers

Hello great content. I am a 29 yr old US citizen that was born abroad. I lost my passport and i was told i needed to provide an American birth certificate which i am unable to provide. How can i go about a showing proof of my US citizenship in order to obtain a replacement passport or birth certificate equivalent. Thank you.

Your parents should have gotten you a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) to register your birth outside USA. That would be the document you need, plus your foreign birth certificate to go along with it 🙏 if you don’t have your CRBA, you can request a new one

My add-on pet peeve for tip #8 is the BIGGEST SECRET OF ALL!: (ask viewers to promise they won't share this highly confidential information with others): Contrary to popular belief, _Other Countries have..._ ...wait for it... ---wait for it... *_Washing Machines!!_* As totally Bizarre as it sounds, ...its True. If one is in a Hotel, they typically have washing service, or better yet, a nearby washeteria. Every AirBnB I have strayed at has a washing machine ... IN the property!! Crazy, I know! And there's the _Insanity_ of the availability of Irons _and_ Ironing boards as well practically everywhere. This ultra "High Tech" stuff can be used by most travelers. And...ones clothes can be ... REUSED after washing!

It's actually a really good point, though. It's so easy to pack lightly if you take advantage of just wearing basically the same stuff every day.

What if you like to carry sharp items such as nail scissors and liquids like shampoo? They won't let you take these in your carry-on luggage.

For most of that kind of stuff, it's easy to find cheap once you've arrived, so I just leave it behind. If it's not necessary for day 1 or 2 upon arrival, I wouldn't worry about it. Small shampoos and liquids (100ml or less) are generally permitted on flights.

Tip 16. For example if you travel to country like 🇵🇭 buy new clothes in 🇵🇭 instead of travel with clothes from home country…..
